LA Mormon Temple closed after white powder found

Now these crazed homosexuals are using germ warfare....?

Mormon temple closed after white substance found

5:42 PM, November 13, 2008

The Mormon Temple in Westwood was closed this afternoon after an envelope filled with an unidentified white powdery substance was delivered to temple employees, Los Angeles police said.

At about 3:30 p.m., a hazardous-materials team was sent to the temple at Santa Monica Boulevard and Overland Avenue, said LAPD Officer Karen Smith.

The temple has recently been the site of protests by opponents of Proposition 8, though it is not clear whether the envelope was related to protests over the gay marriage ban, officials said.

"It is unknown who it's from or who it's addressed to, or any of that," Smith said.

Evidently, since he is so sure this was done by homosexuals, Gary must know something that the article author doesn't.

If this was, indeed, the action of a gay marriage supporter, then he/she has stepped way over the line. Sending or leaving a white powder filled envelope is a terrorist act. If the perpetrator is identified, he/she is in for a nice long vacation at Uncle Sam's expense. And deservedly so.

Gary has to be deathly afraid of gays and lesbians when he sees something like that. He must think it is Armageddon.

I just think graham is afraid that they will find out his dirty little secret. It's not that hard to find, just look in his closet.

Wow, good going to however did this, lol. Well anyway, I bet it's not even anything harmful. It was just meant to scare, I'm sure. And the fear those churchies felt is still nothing compared to the grief that alot of families are going through right now.

They don't even know who did it - or why.

It could easily have been a wackjob lunatic gay-obsessed fanatic like gaysher who did it to inflame hatred against gays.

Or - it could have been the church secretary's boyfriend who thought it would be a funny joke.

They don't know did it - who it was sent to - or why.

Not really much of a story.

Unfortunately it does become a story because of everything else going on around it. Just like when every fire was an act of "ecoterrorism" not too long ago.

That is why he is so very unreasonable, much like the debate a couple of months ago when he argued that all pit bull dogs are dangerous to society. He is so unreasonable to deal with.

Pit bulls ARE dangerous to society. It's idiots that insist on owning them that will result in further deaths and injuries before more legal action must be taken.

Oh,and don't give me it's "just a matter of how they're raised argument." Pit bulls have far more tendency to be violent than most other breeds.

Pit bull owners please do not respond by saying "my dog hasn't ripped my face off yet, so you are wrong about pit bulls."

You buy a dog that bred to hunt, you expect it to have behaviours that correspond with that breeding. You buy a dog bred to fight and be vicious, WTF do you expect?

We had a very small Pit bull when the children were small. He was a hoot. He had a rock bigger than his own head out in the side yard he played with. That is what he took his frustrations out on. He had a large dimple in his chin from rolling that rock around as he growled at it.

I got him when he was four weeks old. Knowing the nature of his breed I taught him from the get go fighting/biting was bad. When he was a few months old he was playing with my children running up the slide ladder and going down the slide at the nearby park. A young man with a Pit had came over by us and his Pit grabbed our pup and would not let go. I grabbed the first thing I could find to pry the guy's dog's jaws loose and shoved it into the dogs mouth to pry open the jaw. Once we had our pup free the children and I walked home. I held our pup and soothed him as much as possible telling him what a bad bite dog the dog that bit him was all the way home.

About six months later a large German Shepard from a few houses down whooped he ass one day. He came in the back door bloody battered and bruised. I said to him, "Have you been a bad bite dog?" He just put his head down looking very ashamed. He knew he was bad for two reasons, one he was not supposed to leave the yard for any reason, two he knew biting was bad.

The dog never bit a person and would always get along with other dogs wherever we went. For a while he thought he was a retriever because he was around other retrievers.

Once a neighbor reached his hand up to strike at my youngest. The dog captured the guy’s arm in his mouth and held on to it with a low growl as a warning.

That doesn't help the people whose kids are hurt or killed from someone else owning one though.

Actually any untrained or badly trained dog can be dangerous regardless of the breed.

People that do not have time or will not take time or devout time to such a pet should not have one.
