I know sulfer-dichloride (vis-a-vis mustard gas) has been around in Britain and France since George IV, but wasn't officially sanctioned for combat use until deployed by Germans on the Western Front in World War I.
That's a very interesting tidbit. I appreciate your sharing of information, even if you feel they aren't completely relevant. I always find that any and all information can be useful in one way or another, so thanks for that.

Good you're here!!
I have no problem with that. Happy to discuss and debate should the need arise.
Nice to meet you.

I disagree with those folks.
I think it's good to see something from all sides. Someone else's perspective may add extra insight or solutions when blindness sets in. Patriotism, pride, insecurity; all can be a roadblock when trying to discuss and debate constructively.

I think it's safe to say I am in agreement with you.

I don't know whether what I said is relevant or not. It was probably a poorly disguised question on my part. I wasn't sure what you meant by "acid attacks." We speak a different lingo here in the States. For example, there is probably 1 in 1,000 Americans who know the meaning of "articulated lorry" or "methylated spirits." Here in the States we say "semi" and "rubbing alcohol" and everybody understands.

Just trying to connect.
