Church, State, Constitution

Quote:
Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics?
Quote:
Because of the very common usage of the "separation of church and state phrase," most people incorrectly think the phrase is in the constitution. The phrase "wall of separation between the church and the state" was originally coined by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to the Danbury Baptists on January 1, 1802. His purpose in this letter was to assuage the fears of the Danbury, Connecticut Baptists, and so he told them that this wall had been erected to protect them. The metaphor was used exclusively to keep the state out of the church's business, not to keep the church out of the state's business.
Separation Of Church And State

In other words, politics out of religion, but religion is ok in politics. Why? Are politics a religion, or are religions politics? Enumerate the issues. Economics are valid criteria.

Probably yes. My powers of conformity are limited by my inexperience in chastisement. Correction of threading policy is logistic. In the interests of efficiency, I defend sufficiency. In the interest of sufficiency I sacrifice efficiency. Common human error. I haven't mastered being a robot yet.

How about mastering writing in a manner that isn't so pretentious and that can be read without causing me to want to immediately ignore you?
