Freedom or Safety?

I am just curious...

In a completely hypothetical scenario. I am aware that no situation is as extreme as the one I am posing. But if you could have ONLY ONE...

Which would you Choose?

There can be no blend of the two...

There has been a blend of the two since the Constitution was ratified in 1789.

If your intention is to somehow debunk the "Patriot Act", then I would ask you to provide an exact example of how the "Patriot Act" is unconstitutional. GOODLUCK!...You'll need it.

Axiom, I have tried to get specific points, and time and again have only gotten broad generalizations.

You are missing the point... I meant there can be no blend of the two, for the purposes of this theoretical excercise. I thought I had made that pretty clear...

You made it very clear, and I think you proved a very good point in doing so.

Thank you.

I thought everyone else had seen the point too, but I guess it eluded a few... Any wonder that it was someone who most likely identifies himself as a Republican?
