The unparalleled use of the filibuster by Republicans cannot be disputed.

That's an epic dodge. I'm talking about the record use by Republicans of the filibuster and it's effect on stopping the President from instituting major economic policy. You counter with one example of filibuster used by Tinker Bell Paul that you personally liked. What a dodge from the main topic.

This President is going down in history as being one of the most active in moving forward the progressive cause. He brought the country back from the toilet that Bush put us in. Without help from the minority party. He got healthcare for all Americans passed. He is in fact seen by the rest of the world in a positive light, not in the way the right in this country tries to claim he is seen as weak and ineffectual. We have advanced quite a lot in the areas of gaining more freedoms, not losing more freedoms while he has been President.
Thanks from Camelot

I agree. Historians are what matters here and not political simpletons. In a quarter of a century, historians will look back on Obama as the guy who walked us away from the financial abyss that happened under his predecessors term. The ACA will be looked back upon as landmark legislation. His court appointments and nominees will be looked upon as a turn away from Right wing thinking. Historians will also see the President's shift in the Middle East away from U.S. obligation that has proven to be such a failure in the past. I think historians will be very kind to this President.

Hey, lay off the fairy dust Tink. Just take a look at the Debt Clock. Oh that's right they took it down. Obama will be remembered as the President that led us down the same road that Greece took. Our National Debt will probably exceed 20 Trillion before this buffoon is out of office.

You are ignorant of history. Bush's two unpaid for wars, his unpaid for Senior Prescription Drug Program and the financial meltdown on his watch did that. The deficit has been steadily shrinking during Obama's term. You are an uneducated buffoon.

Yes, in Nevernever Land where you obviously reside, every untoward thing is Bushes' fault, if a sparrow dies or a child is autistic it's surely Bushes' fault.
