I get paid 12,000 bucks a year to go to school. Once I graduate I'll make 40,000 a year, then as I get promoted I'll make more and more until I retire, which if I want could be in my mid forties. And in retiring I get a handsome pension. And that's all adding onto someone completely without debt whatsoever. I'll be more than set.
Thanks from imaginethat and Twisted Sister

Recently I revealed the fact that I am an officer cadet at the Royal Military College of Canada. Also, I have presented a picture of myself both in civilian clothes and my RMC uniform.

Now, I have decided to open up a little more once again, but not before another hilarious poll. I wanna know what you guys think my past, personality, likes, dislikes, my true name, etc are (In the end I'm only gonna give my first name, for obvious reasons)!

Imaginethat and Pensacola niceman you guys already know my name so please don't spoil it for everyone else.

Have at it.
Could you be Louis Saint Laurent's Great Great Grandson ? Just a guess ... LoL

40k per year is barely adequate but you get a lot of free benefits. Plus you will travel the world and have stories to tell your grandkids. You have the potential to be a great success. The weapons officer on my destroyer ultimately became President of the Naval War College and then was Superintendent of Annapolis before he retired as a Vice Admiral.

They are extremely proud.

They've supported my dream since I first conceived it when I was around ten years old.

As a matter of fact, it's very much because of my parents that I joined the Forces: my parents raised me to believe that the best way to live is to dedicate your life to helping others.

It doesn't seem like much but the fact that I'll not only have zero debt when I finish school, but a shit load of saved money as well means that 40k will be very nice.

Also, like I said, that's just my starting point. After a couple years I'll get promoted to Captain and make 74,000 dollars a year. I attend to keep getting promoted, and as I rise, so too does my pay.
Thanks from Twisted Sister

Please remember one thing; the skilled and proficient enlisted men under you are what makes you a great leader. Gain the lower rank's respect and there is no limit on how high you can climb.

I hear ya. I have nothing but respect for the enlisted men and women of the CAF, and as an officer I intend to develop good relationships with the NCOs working under me.

Egotistical officers are disrespected by both above and below. You have to be firm when need be but generally humble. In Nam I had the future Superintendent of Annapolis, operations officer and fire control officer do a see no evil, say no evil and hear no evil like the monkey statue and took a picture of it that I still have today.
