I loved them both. But im here to tell you that both are just as sneakier than hell as compared to a human. The main difference between them though, i've noted, is that one can be and sometimes is very manipulative of the alpha and the other knows it is the alpha.

I voted Yes, dogs are morally superior to humans. Dogs don't lie, they have greater capacity for empathy than most if not all humans.
They're not good when it comes to sharing their food, but all in all, they're great companions and I've always had at least one dog for the past 30 years.

Depending on breed, not all dogs behave like pack animals. Most small, short-legged dogs, like Chou's and Shih Tzu's that have ancestry in the far east, are very independent and stubborn...a lot like cats, but more lovable.

As for cats, we've always had at least one cat in our house too for more than 20 years. Everything goes well as long as the dogs (and the humans) take the time and make the effort to figure out what the cat wants.

So, I like both cats and dogs...better than most people!

Morality is a human construct, the concept is alien to canines.

No, I'm primarily talking about people that had both sons and daughters. This is not female bashing. After helping to raise my three sons and then having two grandsons i was blessed with a grand-daughter, she will be nine years old in June. is incompredingly beautiful , smart and sweet and simply OWNS me.
But she can STILL be a pain in the ass and like all princesses can be high maintenance.
Thanks from Lyzza

Little boy, trips, smacks his face on the ground. Cries for about 15 seconds, then gets up and runs over to the grilled cheese sandwich he'd been heading for when he tripped.

Little girl, trips, but barely bumps her knee, literally weeps for five minutes even though she's being comforted by mom and dad. When she stops crying, forget the grilled cheese sandwich. She isn't hungry.....

Oh, and dogs behave in morally superior ways. Some cats are way cooler than others, but as is said, and is true, people train dogs while cats train people.
Thanks from Hollywood

True dat. Dogs have owners, cats have a staff.

I have four sons and one daughter and my experience is that daughters are indeed very high maintenance compared to boys.
She is totally worth it of course, but even my wife would admit it, she can be a right madam when the mood takes her

Dogs are forgiving, loyal, and naturally optimistic.

These are all traits which are formed by them being pack animals.
I love dogs and I have a dog at the moment, but we should not attribute human constructs to their behaviour, it's unfair to both them and ourselves.
