Whatever Happened To ‘World Leaders’?

Fox News' coverage of the historic meeting between the two leaders . . .
RATINGS BLOWOUT: This Program Dominated All Of TV During North Korea Summit

The media dropped the words “world leaders” when they reported on the Singapore Sitdown. I am plagued by one question: Was the term world leaders dropped like a used condom because Trump is not a world leader? I cannot imagine the MSM demoting Kim Jong-un!

There is no such thing as a world leader. ( “Global leaders” is a variation of world leaders.) The heads of governments are national leaders. The Clinton co-presidency notwithstanding, I usually had one national leader like Obama, and I often trusted them less than I trust Chinese and Russian leaders. Today, Hitler and Stalin would be called world leaders.

The media created the misnomer “World Leader” because it invokes universal voting. How many Americans have been brainwashed long enough to accept foreigners voting in our elections simply because of decades of reading and hearing about world leaders?

The message has always been: World leaders must be decided by worldwide elections. Without universal elections it would not be democracy. Sometimes I think too many Americans love the word “democracy” more than they love liberty itself. Contrary to popular belief democracy and liberty are not interchangeable.

Democrats and doublespeak are inseparable companions. Phrases like International law, and world leader, routinely go unchallenged by the MSM, but that’s not official foreign policy. Lately, I am sensing make-overs are moving into foreign policy. Saying the opposite of what is actually happening can be dangerous. Imagine the confusion when the MSM tells the public the world is at peace when the country is under attack.

Leaders are players on the world stage. They are not world leaders because the United Nations says they are.

NOTE: Attendees at every U.N. Summit are always world leaders; most especially summits about global warming frauds. (Trump lost world leader status when he dumped the Paris climate accord.)

Finally, there are former presidents, but is there such a thing as a former world leader? Carter has been out of office for so long he qualifies for the title World Leader Emeritus? And should the title of Abridged World Leader apply to Hillary Clinton because her husband, a retired world leader, helped his wife out every now and then? Is there no end to the MSM’s newspeak tomfoolery?

I don't believe that Kim Jong Un is a 'world leader' because the global community does not have repercussions economically and sociologically from his actions.

Trump - the other leaders of the G-7 - Russia, China, Japan and India do have this power on the global community. Some for positive - some not. But they do "lead" the world by the nature of the reactions to their actions.
Thanks from RNG

To tristanrobin: So you are saying that “world leaders” do exist because of the way world reacts rather than a doublespeak political phrase. I disagree. Basically, world leaders exist in the minds of people who fell for the propaganda; much like International law and global warming.
