Before ObamaCare there were 800,000 American children without health insurance in Texas, for starters.

There were not 800,000 American children without insurance in Texas. The number of uninsured children is driven by illegals. This is 100% the fault of Democrats and Supreme Court.

Texas is one of the states that did not expand Medicaid. There's a price to pay for that decision. Texas is a huge state. It's also leaving a huge amount of federal money on the table—and not insuring more than 1 million people—because of its opposition to Obamacare. This is just plain ol' partisan politics. Nevermind the PEOPLE--just vote against anything Obama proposed. It's easier that way.
Texas could be receiving $100 billion in federal cash over the decade and there's more bad news.
In Texas, no childless adult can obtain Medicaid coverage. And adults with children who earn above 19 percent of the federal poverty level, or about $3,800 for a family of three, are also barred from coverage in Texas.

This is the scenario for red states like Texas, Florida, Wyoming, etc. Wyoming, which not that long ago, was booming, is now a mess and part of that reason falls right into the lap of no Medicaid expansion--all because of politics.

Texas is one of those states that rejected Obamacare and the two million people that would be added through Medicaid expansion and the $27 billion that would it would cost the state in the ten years after expansion.

Texas offers Medicaid to everyone who qualifies economically except working age people without children and illegals. People 65 and over who are not caring for a child can get Medicaid.

Texas offers two prenatal care options and all health services for children, including dental, whose caregivers qualify economically.

Common. Just use progressive math.

You could have the opportunity to siphon 100 billion from from the other 49 states if you only spend 27 billion of your own. All of that money that the federal government does not have could go to something that you dont want. It's a no brainer. Hurry before it is to late.
