Ya know Cacon !! There are people RIGHT HERE ON THIS BOARD that have made, not just similar, but almost identical comments. Conservatives who have espoused some version of getting rid of, or outlawing, anyone and everyone that thinks even a little less conservative than they do.

With the rise of Trump this group has gotten infinitely more vocal. Luckily they are a minority, but they are loud, vile, nasty and mean, just like their hero Trump.

separation of church and state - Of course it exists, Thomas Jefferson was quite clear on the concept, both in Virginia (Notes on the State of Virginia) & in the Bill of Rights.

As for the socialist, communist agenda - In 1776CE, there was no political socialism nor Communism (the First International met in 1866), (Marx & Engels were writing in the 1800s - their big hit was in 1848 ).

Offhand, I don't remember if there were public schools (as we think of them now) after the Revolution in the US. Public education then, as I recall, was mostly in the hands of the churches. & so their agenda would have been much more sectarian than political - although I'm sure their mission had political overtones to it.

No matter what the subject, we the people should appreciate direct SLAMS to our political sway--our objections to sexual assault--our penchant for tact/civility--our trust in our intelligence agencies--our unsupportive attitude toward a president who lies on a daily basis and has the decorum of a snotty toddler. If we are educated, then obviously we are elitists. If we support the separation of church and state, we are heathens. If we protect the gay community we are going to hell. If we endorse social programs and healthcare then obviously we are just plain stupid. If we suggest environmental protections we want businesses to fail.

BUT our worst offense? Our worst offense is questioning the sitting president--his alley cat behavior--his disgusting potty mouth--his slimy lies, name-calling, meltdowns, tweets and juvenile behavior.
Amen Sister Clara!

AND IF that is true (BIG IF)......why do you care?? What possible difference could it make to you IF...IF....IF we are blinded??

That's what I DON'T get. You and your kind have it all. You own it. You bought and paid for it. Now....you HAVE IT. That wonderful STENCH coming from the SEWER---that awesome odor coming from the FBI and the DOJ--from your partisan, narrow-minded house and senate---from the WHITE HOUSE. IT'S all yours, baby.

You wanted it. You got it. So fix it and never mind about the Dems and Libs. Go ahead--show us how you're going to make things GREAT AGAIN.
AND BTW, you've got until November 6, 2018 to DO IT. Scurry along.

And THAT'S the question I can't get any of my Trump loving friends and family to answer.

How in hell do they expect a billionaire play boy, someone that's never done a days real labor in his entire life, to even begin to understand what we, the average person, lives through on a daily basis ???

Trump was born rich. He literally grew up with every single advantage his daddy's money could buy. He started life on third base and thinks he's hit a home run. Well actually he think he's hit THE home run, the greatest, biggest, bestest, yugest home run ever hit in the entire history of home runs.
Thanks from Hollywood and Clara007

This is nothing new. I thought it was but, it's not. What's new is the ease in how quickly this type of stuff can spread with a mere click of the button.

I respect your opinion.

My opinion stands, for me. I've never seen such a long-building crescendo of barbarism, with no end in sight. True, this disease can spread in a click. That's part of the reason why the intensity is unprecedented.

Presidential character has gone pretty much downhill since Carter. Trump defines the bottom.

On the spectrum? I tend to agree. However, Trump is in freefall - there is no bottom. He hit terminal velocity @ least a year ago.

The Slough of Despond that he is headed for is truly endless. Why, even his immortal comb over is in danger of going awry.
