The teachers are in revolt...and rightly so, against attacks on public schooling, defunding schools, and the AFT-their main union who has sold them out for years now by agreeing to increased class sizes/ cuts in wages and benefits for teachers and eliminating support staff.

Neither liberal nor conservative MSM is giving any space to the teacher uprisings in West Virginia, Oklahoma, Colorado and other states, because the decades-long attack on unions and wage earners by Democrats and Republicans alike has finally seen more and more common working class people go in revolt...just like Americans did 100 years ago, before the trade union movement was legalized and quickly co-opted and marginalized..beginning with the AFL-CIO agreeing to the terms of the Taft-Hartley Act back in 1948.

With the support striking teachers are receiving from parents and the public at large in West Virginia, it looks like the capitalists you worship have pushed things to the point where the US working class is almost at the stage of full scale revolt again! Let's see what the coming Recession...which could hit in the fall of next year according to more and more market watchers does to the real labor movement which have seen themselves losing even during the so called 'good times' under Obama. And time for some honest, relevant cartoons for a change!
