Yeah, I will not open these stupid videos. These guys don't know how to have an intelligent conversation on these issues, and only post offensive videos to laugh. They also like to make fun of those who get offended by their offensive bullshit.

Very junior high..............

In the two minutes I watched she stated 'feminism helps men' and he responded as if she had said 'men help', and her statement that 'women are supposed to get pregnant' as if she had said 'women are capable of getting pregnant'.

Honestly, I don't understand that kind of BS. I guess some guys just like the sound of their own voice so much that they will say any stupid thing and ignore the fact that they are making an ass out of themselves.
Thanks from waitingtables and Lyzza

Okay, but does anyone want to discuss feminism and economic changes? I am reading books about the economic changes we are experiencing and one of them is focused on the female perspective. There are some interesting things happening. A shrinking middle class as we loose good paying industrial jobs and develop more low paying service jobs.

This shift in employment has benefited us with more jobs for women, but this seems to lead to more women filing for divorce, so now we have more females as single heads of household, but living at the poverty level. This fact pressures on for a raised minimum wage.

As we loose good paying industrial jobs fewer people are covered with medical insurance and this results in pressure for a national medical insurance plan. A lot of insured people means more jobs for people in the health industry. This grows the service economy.

You may have noticed we have an increase in women filing for divorce. This was unexpected. It was assumed men were abandoning their families, but statistically more women file for divorce. The book I am reading is relatively old, and now I want updated data because there appears to be a strong shift in family dynamics. Women are no longer being submissive to men because this is no longer an economic necessity, and working outside of the home and being independent is now socially acceptable. However, I am thinking how bad can a marriage be that women are willing to live in poverty and carry the responsibility of children alone?

Something has to be really bad in those marriages if going it alone seems better. I have heard more men are helping with the housework, and I am seeing more men with children on the bike path and at the parks. Might male behavior change and might this reduce the number of divorces?

- the courts dramatically rule in favor of women in custody cases leading to unfair rewards of alimony and child support

- in this equation men are treated more as a resource than a parent

- the welfare state economically rewards single mothers

- the welfare states growth relies on the growth of single mothers

- affirmative action

- now a two income family is an expectation add to that the increased % of the income tax the "revenue" that the state brings in is significantly larger.

- this also has led to the expansion of the welfare state

- the break down of the family leads to people to believe that more dependance on the state is a necessity

- these are all goals in leading the people to a more socialist society

Maybe you should just be less of a pansy and not try and block out anything that hurts your precious sensibilities?

Feminism is a political ideology.

For centuries, patriarchy has dominated, and there are problems with this. I do not think matriarchy is the solution, but democracy with equal rights seems best to me. However, patriarchy and matriarchy are not political ideologies, neither is feminism, so I am confused why you posted in political ideologies?

As for having to watch something that is offensive, if a point can not be made without offending people then I am not interested.
Patriarchy and matriarchy are methods of social structure. That doesn't make feminism not a political ideology.

As for being offended, the world literally gives 0 fucks. If you want to ignore shit because much feelings, go right ahead. I wonder who's more pathetic , the person who's abrasive or the person who remains willfully ignorant because of their feelings.

I would like to discuss changes that have occurred and what laws protecting the right of women to have college educations and careers have done to increase the number of female head of house households. Research shows women are more likely to file for divorce than males. I wonder why that is Might it have something to do with a few thousand years of patriarchy and how technology and economic changes are weakening patriarchy?
Research also shows that the general happiness of women has gone down as they've abandoned their traditional gender role, so I mean shit. That aside, maybe the fact that divorce is profitable to women right now is why we're seeing so much of it. I'm sure that's more relevant than a social structure from a bygone era. Nah, that would hurt your precious sensibilities, so that can't be it.

What is "unfair rewards of alimony and child support"?
This link is in defense of men who do not pay child support, and I am in favor of this defense. Content / Studies and Statistical Information / Child Support Statistics: Myths, legends and the American Way: Deadbeat dads - S.P.A.R.C. It begins by correcting a myth.
Quote:
(Summary: 62% of custodial mothers do not receive child support. However, of that number, three-fourths of them simply do not want child support, have not asked for it, have accepted other financial arrangements instead of child support, or the father does not have the money. Only 11% of those custodial mothers who do not receive child support, is because of "deadbeat dads".)
Is your post based on research?

I do believe the breakdown of family is apt to lead to more reliance on welfare, as women's wages tend to be low and yes the children do seem to go with the mother most often.

However, Why do the children usually go with the mother? Considering how many fathers do not pay child support and do not have regular visits with their children, I am not sure fathers are that interested? Statistically, they become less interested in their children when they remarry and have a second family to think about. I think these graphs show the reason why children usually go with the mother, and I welcome the increased father's involvement with children. My children were teenagers when the marriage came an end and I did leave them with their father, but they were very happy with him, so I returned home and he was glad to leave.

The welfare state economically rewards single fathers equally as it rewards mothers if the fathers have custody of the children. I have heard men say they can not take the children because they have to work for a living. There are some women who think it is a huge advantage to work for a living without having to care for children as well. I am not saying they do not want the children, but they are more willing to make that sacrifice for the children.

There is so much we could talk about if you want, but I think we need empirical information that we can link to, otherwise some of us think, yeah, yeah, yeah women have been blamed ever since Adam and Eve, and blaming them is not credible. For darn sure, they have not done as well when it comes to retirement income, and I know many of us think this is a huge injustice.

My sense of self-worth skyrocketed when I became a single mother and realized the huge advantage wives give their husbands. When the USSR "liberated" women and women and children increasingly slid into poverty, research revealed, they slid into poverty, because unlike the husbands they support through college, there was no one to support them through college. That left them stuck in low-wage jobs, without the time or energy to improve their own lives, after earning their low wage and caring for the children too. How marvelous it would have been if all I had to think about was advancing my own career, while someone took care of the home and children.
Thanks from waitingtables

That is bullshit. If Women are paid less then why do corporations hire men? Business is kind of anal about making money, going with the cheapest etc. etc.

Write a biography. Other than that its anecdotal bullshit.

I call bullshit. Prove the welfare state rewards single fathers as much as it does single mothers. Your just pulling that out of your ass. You have "heard" men say they cant raise children due to work. Well, if the welfare state was as rewarding to men as women.... Maybe they are less willing because the court will side with a Woman in a custody most of the time anyway. Leaving the man the monthly payment.

Were not talking about Adam and Eve or Saudia Arabia, were talking about right now in the modern Western World. Again you pull another statement out of your ass. Source the retirement income bullshit.

The USSR? Are you fucking kidding me? Why dont you just use Saudi Arabia or Iran as an example as well. In the modern western world there is no male privilege or gender wage gap. Its a fabrication made up by modern feminist in an attempt to use their gender to place themselves in a privileged position by screaming victim. I call bullshit to the whole lot of it. Modern Feminism is nothing more than a bunch of fuckery that is merely a mainstream version of tumbrism. Now for some truth

If you want me to read your post, I have to enjoy doing so. If I feel offended, I stop reading and don't make an effort to give a thoughtful reply.
