That's just silly.

I think older liberals are more partial to country music (not THIS liberal - I can't bear it) - younger liberals are more into alternative / rock / ska.

Personally, I just like classic rock and rock pop - mostly from my youth - like all good hippies.
Thanks from RNG

I'm no liberal.

So, I don't know if liberals like 'em. I like 'em. And Beck (Soy un perdedor).

BNL.

If I'm talking country, I'm talking groups like Poco, ~1970, Pickin' up the Pieces.

Or, "country grass," like the New Riders of the Purple Sage: Glendale

Pure Prairie League!! Common, as Sab would say! Amie

Look, hippies didn't invent country music, but real hippies really dig it, and know how to play it pretty good. Good Lord man, the Beatles and the Stones did some mighty fine C&W.

Oooop, I didn't see your post before I posted mine. The part about "real" hippies? Never mind that, K?
Thanks from tristanrobin

Am I the only one who keeps Pandora on the Chet Baker station?
Well 90% of the time, occasionally, I'll switch to Julie London or Marlene Dietrich.

I like all sorts of music, was a DJ at a dance club in the late 80's early 90's or the good ole days. I like music from just about all genre but i am partial to the 80's. Love classical when I am reading, couldn't tell you the names of the composers but love it just the same. Hard rock, pop rock, pop. Some progressive rock from the 80's. I do like some country not a lot but no music is actually for any one political group, I would say more conservatives enjoy like country based on the songs about God, and country, but music transcends politics, IMHO

I don't hate country music. In fact, I love it.....have been to many country music concerts. Maybe I'm in the minority?
