I'm an Independent, myself. I can see ideas of both parties; as well as their flaws.
Thanks from caconservative

It's a position a lot of politicians are taking these days. To me it it's just a way to fool voters and mask your true intentions. And it really doesn't matter as long as gerrymandering is allowed to continue. It's also unfair that a state that has population numbers of 1 million people is allowed to have the same representation of a state that has 20 million people. Representation should actually represent the number of people in a state or district, and the districts should be drawn according to those populations with five people allowed to run in each district so they would have to run on ideas and solutions to problems, and not based upon any party affiliation. No representative would be allowed to serve more than 3 two year terms, and no Senator should be allowed to serve more than two 6 year terms. They should receive no pensions after they leave office, and not allowed to serve as lobbyest's after they leave office. Political PACS should be outlawed, and all money down to the last dime that is contributed to their campaigns must be exposed as well as the donors names that give the money. You want to support a politician, you don't get to hide in the shadows to do it. Let's see how well a lot of those crooks and liars would fare if we did that. Then you can call yourself anything you want.

What do you think brought the convention to a stand still for over a month and almost ended the convention? Why do we have the bicameral structure we have?
Thanks from Guille

Skews comment again shows he is a socialist with communist leanings who believes there should be a caste system that has an elite and a peasant. The division shall be among a politik party line. That's why Skews hates the constitution and doesn't think that two senators from each state is fair. Or, Skews is ignorant and doesn't understand the difference between the house and the senate. No, I will stick with he is just pathetic socialist garbage who hates the constitution
