I was being factitious and if only smart people are allowed to breed the horror of inbreeding between the ones who are left becomes apparent when their brains start growing too fast for their craniums to grow.

Cell phones and texting are the worst hazards when driving sober. Ban cell phones and texting.
People using cell phones and texting are the #1 driving hazard.

The effect of THC varies widely from person to person. The "lack of depth perception" effect is something I've never experienced, either driving, or expert skiing or mountain biking.

While "stoned driving" involves some impairment, it's nothing like drunk driving, plus unlike a drunk driver, a stoned driver is aware of his or her impairment. The drunk driver goes 80 in a 45 zone. The stoned driver goes 25 in the 45 zone, for instance, which really pisses off drunk drivers.

I totally agree with cell phone texting. Hands free talking I have no problem with. Texting and driving should be a large fine and automatic suspension of drivers license for first offense.

A DUI costs at least $10k and is one of the only "crimes" that you are guilty of as soon as you are accused of and must demonstrate your "innocents" to the state.

Taxation w/o representation.
In Colorado, you can refuse to take a breathalyzer or blood test for alcohol. They screw ya by immediately revoking your license, But many who pass the field sobriety test might fail the breath or blood test.

It's a gamble, big time, but when you go to court, note that you passed the field sobriety tests, well what evidence does the court have that you were "legally drunk?" Zero.

Legally drunk
