Jeff Sessions

I have been trying to make sence of this thing for a little bit now and I think I may have come up w/ a logical theory. I know that it is completely en vogue to just dismiss everything that trump does as just stupid or inexperienced. I just don't believe that to be so. If you look back at things objectively trump has made some pretty awesome unorthodox moves. One or two could be chalked up to chance but not that many IMO.

Anyways, I hope that this is not true, but as I have said it makes the most sence to me. Now sessions has come out publicly as the authoritarian that he was in Alabama. Now I knew this was what he represented in Alabama but those were the laws and I had hoped that he was going to be a states rights kinda guy. Apparently I was wrong.

So here is sessions making all of this noise about the drug war and trumps people, if not trump himself knows that a good amount of trumps backers do not want any more money dumped into this disaster or anymore lives ruined over archaic laws. They also know that the progressives and the mainstream media hate trump and hover over him, especially his twitter waiting for any chance that may emerge to try to take some wind out of his sails.

In comes king trump making a twitter storm bashing old' Jeffry. Now here is where it gets tricky. Trump has no intention of getting rid of sessions. He knows this and so does sessions. But he also knows that w/ sessions going all 1990s on the drug war and stealing whatever is not nailed down from those dirty druggies the trump camp will loose face. He also knows how much the neo cons and progressives hate him.

Watch the senate rally around sessions and "force" trump to keep him. They will say things like they will refuse to approve another AG and trump will be stuck w/ Rosenstein. They will say that only a short while ago he was one of them and we cannot have a POTUS going all The Apprentice on everyone. They need to put an end to this tyranny. They will "make a stand"

Here trump will throw his hands up and point at the senate again saying how much the democrats refuse to work w/ him and make a big show about the obstructionious Washington swamp

This way trump can keep sessions and simultaneously wash his hands of any batshit stuff that he may do.

Again, just a theory but it works IMO.

My fear is that you are correct tho I think you give trump too much credit. I do not believe he is actually that smart. I do not think he is that kind of forward thinking strategist. I think, like most of his excessively privileged life, he is more lucky than smart. I think he is just one of those that has the knack of falling into YUGE piles of shit and coming up smelling like the proverbial rose.

I don't think that he personally is that smart, but you have to understand that he is the figurehead of an international conglomerate and has Most likely collected a number of brilliant strategists over the years. That he (they) have been manipulating media and power for a number of years. The methods he is using are light years ahead of Clinton and the other dinosaurs that are competing in the political ring w/ him. The blue bloods, the Rs and Ds are still playing by the old rules, no matter how corrupt they are. Leaning heavily on the media and the 50 plus crowd. They (the trumpsters) are utalizing social media and hot button issues like they have never been used before. There are surely a number of millennials or younger colaborating w/ the usual suspects. This I am all but certain of.

You just don't want to consider what makes the most "sense" so you have come up with this convoluted hypothesis to explain away what is painfully obvious.

Trump doesn't have the intellectual capacity to strategize anything and the people he hires?? When was the last time he listened or took their advice? AND his list of "trusted" advisors is getting shorter by the day. His family--and that's about it.
Trump only knows one way--his way or the highway. He is a reactive man--careless, reckless, impulsive and to hell with the consequences. He has rarely been held accountable for his business failures and his fraudulent lifestyle....so he keeps stumbling along...created havoc and now he has control of an entire nation. What could possibly go wrong?

I believe that we as a society take the political class at face value dangerously to often. This is why they get away w/ what they do so easily. Shit they don't even try and hide it any more. People have been underestimating trump his entire life and has learned to use it to his advantage.

But the again most of you couldn't connect the dots between lil' Debbie,Kline and Clinton when that was happening in real time. That's fine. Don't try and look passed the "painfully obvious".
Thanks from guy39 and caconservative
