But the ones who are NOT stupid see the bigger picture here and they don't like it. The most shocking part is that YOU don't see the bigger picture. So let me spell it out for you.

The intent of this law is not to serve the majority of the people, as one would expect in a republican democracy. Its primary focus is serving a small minority with the power to pass this new law. The GOP's critics always knew what the party stood for.

AND it gets worse. Here's a little story. Mitch McConnell's office is about 100 feet from the Senate floor. The DAY of the vote--all day-- there was a LONG LONG line of LOBBYists. The long long line snaked through the hallway. “Wall Street lobbyist after Wall Street lobbyist” went into McConnell’s office and left with tax provisions that would benefit their own companies.

Nearly half of all Americans opposed this bill because they understood the implications.
There were 12 House Republicans who voted NO on the tax bill.
Yes, they will get a Temporary tax cut..

Who's fault is it that the middle class tax cut is Temporary

You see there is this thing called the Byrd Rule (Named after the Grand Wizard of the Senate for almost 3/4 of a century)

You Democrat would not support a middle class tax cut. if just 9 yes 9 of 48 Democrats had said I WANT THE MIDDLE CLASS TO HAVE A TAX CUT and put their VOTE WHERE THEIR MOUTH WAS. The Middle class tax cut would not sunset 10 years from now.

So what did the GOP do, they gave us the maximum tax cut they could 10 years of tax cut..

So when you get pissed it sunset BLAME SCHUMER, BLAME FIENSTIEN, blame Gillibrand, Blame Sanders, Blame any of the 48 DEMOCRATS that voted NAY.
Thanks from Jimgorn and Kelvin

No, you have. You still think Government cares about you. They don't, they care about making money for their true employers, the Bankers.

The Treasury has to sell an additional 1.5 trillion in debt to run the government than it would otherwise. Now that's over a ten year period, and the debt was going to increase by ten trillion over that period, if nothing was done.
Now it should increase by 11.5 trillion.

That's where they get the number.

History has proven that when there are tax cuts, the revenue coming into the Treasury increases......The reason there was deficits was because the idiots in both parties can not stop spending....not because of the tax cuts...
