Dems Move Toward Party Unity

Bernie Sanders vows to work with Hillary Clinton as Dems move toward party unity - CNNPolitics.com

Bernie Sanders: I want to work with Hillary Clinton to defeat Donald Trump
After his meeting with Mr Obama, Mr Sanders said he cannot believe the Republicans would support a candidate who makes 'bigotry and discrimination a cornerstone of his campaign’.

“I will do everything in my power and will work as hard as I can to make sure Trump will not be president,” he said.

In a campaign between two democrats which had become increasingly nasty, Mr Sanders said on Thursday that he wanted to unify the party.

“I spoke briefly to Clinton on Tuesday night and I congratulated her on her campaign and I look forward to meeting her in the near future to see how we can work together and defeat Trump,” he concluded.

God bless you, Bernie!

That's why he has the support he does. I'm waiting for the announcement from him ending his campaign. That will be a powerful moment, that will have some tears in the room, which will scare the hell out of a lot of people that will be watching.

You don't think Bernie will have everyones undivided attention do you?

Ryan says Trump is a racist but he still will support him. Real Republican family values being shown there.

I think ALL eyes are on Bernie and he knows it. Bernie will handle it well. He's begun his transition. Honestly I thought he'd step down yesterday but he didn't QUITE go that far and I'm wondering why. Something else is brewing??

YEP. IF Ryan and others had said (from the beginning) they MIGHT support Trump or they would make their choice down the line or they hadn't decided or they weren't 'thrilled' with Trump but might be persuaded......FINE.
But these guys said they absolutely WOULD NOT EVER EVER support him and yet here we are. And the RW calls Hillary a lying hypocrite. That's rich.

Many of us said we were not Bernie supporters but we would support Bernie if he became the nominee. We would support either Hillary OR Bernie. Having said that I KNOW there are Bernie supporters who despise Hillary, but I think Bernie will persuade them. Bernie has pushed Hillary a little to the left and I think Hillary can be persuaded to embrace some or part of Bernie's proposals. Obama will be a crucial piece of that negotiated puzzle.

Ryan, and the rest of the RINO's are trying to cover their butts. Nothing scares them more the appearance of racism. Even when racial bias may exist.

I find it particularly funny when the Trump supporters call life long Republicans like Ryan RINOS when it was Trump in 2012 that was calling Hillary a "terrific woman" or in 2008 when he said, "I know Hillary, and I think she would make a great President or vice president" and "Bill Clinton was a great President."

But it's Ryan that's the RINO.....yeah, right.
Thanks from RNG
