I honestly think it is a sub conscious effort to return to their slave owning roots. How many times have we heard the progs defend illegal aliens by claiming that they will do the work that "we" wont. The progressive/Democrats needin to be da massa again. So, illegal immigrants make it all right

You answered no questions, how many is enough? What number is correct when it comes to policy? Do we ignore our own citizens hardships, infrastructure, healthcare and education and take in more and basically give protective class status? How do we address remittances which does have economic consequences.

I do have a feeling that you keep your own house keys safe and away from strangers, no shame as I do it myself. This is not bigotry or racism wanting to know that the people who are invited in by good policy contribute and share like minded values. Not all illegals are bad and do good for themselves and family but in the same breath accountability is long gone and our borders bleed with unknown people entering.

I never understood why this is so difficult to understand, respect our house, culture and customs and we will respect you.
I am not going to answer a stupid question and you know it. Period.
Now, once again....and I'll type slowly. We agree--on several things.
**Here's what we agree on: Not all illegals are bad or good. WE want the people who come to contribute and share like minded values. Illegal immigration is MOST certainly a political football.
There is nothing complicated or difficult about the issue. We the people want LEGAL immigrants--naturalized immigrants. We the people want respect for our culture and customs.
Having said all that let me add this. I'm a realist--a pragmatist--which seems to confuse the sheep. Some seem to think that because I understand WHY illegals cross the border and YES, sometimes empathize, that I'm cheering for illegal immigration. I'm not. I believe in the law and follow the law.
AND...If you want to talk all day about the evils of illegal immigration--go for it--but it accomplishes nothing. It resolves NOTHING because no matter what our presidents and lawmakers and cabinet members do, these people WILL KEEP COMING. They will risk everything. They are willing to die. Why? Because even though our streets are not paved with gold, our opportunities are.

Because those people voted for Trump, hoping that he'd make it possible for them to become migrant workers, just like in "Harvest of Shame"....
We'll certainly be lopping off a subsidy of at least $115-Billion annually given to illegal aliens. And that doesn't take into account the number crimes committed. The American unemployment numbers and stagnation of wages are directly attributable to the presence of illegal aliens. All in all, enforcement of our immigration laws would be boost to our economy. Taxpayer money would go directly to the legal students and not siphoned off to educate the children of illegal aliens. Our overburdened health care system would see some relief.

We all understand why they're crossing the border illegally. When a system guarantees enough subsidies to live on, who the hell wouldn't?! When the quest to fulfill their opportunities deprives our own of theirs, that bleeding-heart mentality flies out the door. There is NO legal or moral right to illegally enter another country looking for a hand out. You either come in the front door welcomed, or you don't come in at all. At present, legal immigration should be cut by at least 50%.

Nobody goes to other countries to get handouts - they go to work in whatever place pays best, and the employers take on the cheapest people they can get to do the job. It is a system called capitalism, and if you think your honking is going to change it, think again.
