Maybe in your mind.

What change in management. He just wanted Comey to do something at best unethical.

The reason Trump called for the one-on-one meeting with Comey is simple.

No witnesses so that if a controversy came up, it would be Trump's word against Comey's.

And guess what....?

Now that is some pretzel logic.

Do you actually believe this?????

NO ONE is "entitled" to your thoughts except YOU.

What you are suggesting George Orwell called "thought crimes"

Comey had been doing the job. If Trump was dissatisfied with his performance he has every right to question him abot those issues. But that WAS NOT the purpose of this meeting. Next thing you'll be telling us is that Comey should have promised Trump his loyalty over that of his job as head of the FBI.

The problem with Comey is how do you not look like a disgruntled fired employee. I thought his statement that he made in regards to being mad because of Trumps statements makes a good argument that he has a axe to grind. But, he is making them toward Trump who is not exactly mister honesty

Guess what, in January, when Trump was PEOTUS, Comey met Trump in Trump Tower and asked everyone else to leave the room. Trump then, quite rightly, thought that that was how Comey did business with POTUS if he did that with PEOTUS.

When Trump and Comey met privately, Comey discussed the dossier that Russian intelligence services allegedly had compromising information on the president-elect. Comey displayed good manners and consideration for Trump.

The one-on-one meeting didn't establish his "preferred" style of communicating. It sure is fun to watch Trump supporters believing that they can interpret what he says and explain his mannerisms ... always to exonerate him of the stupid shit he does routinely.

You got to love how the right wing is playing the "Trump was too inexperienced to know that he shouldn't kick people out of the room so he can speak with Comey alone" defense. It was Trump that went on and on for a couple of months about the inappropriateness of Bill Clinton meeting on a tarmac with Obama's Attorney General. So Trump magically forgot the protocol that he was espousing for months ? That sums up the problem for the right wing with respect to Trump. They embarrass themselves trying to defend this fool.
Thanks from Clara007

Embarrass? I think they disgrace themselves.
