Yes Clara, experience, and that means more than a lot of people want to admit.

Like an alcoholic being in denial. Which is 99.999% of Hillary haters are.

There is no way they can admit to themselves that she has an enormous war chest of cash that she has already used, and will use, to defeat conservatives with. Then will give these new elected legislators the advice they need to push Progressive legislation through, and just generally make conservatives lives as miserable as possible.

Hillary will do more damage to the conservative cause as a private citizen, than she ever could as President, and that's a delicious irony that will be good for the country as a whole going forward.
Thanks from Clara007

I don't recall the whole saga of 08's presidential sweepstakes, but it seems like it sure took a hell of a long time for her to drop out of the race.

Maybe she is! Remember back when Donna Brazile released her book on the trainwreck, she claims she discovered that the DNC...which she had become the new leader of, had almost no funds to support Democratic candidates, and the Clinton Campaign controlled the DNC.....and yes, they rigged some primaries for her......funny how the story is even on CNBC's site, yet Democrats have forgotten all about it!

It did take a while and she was making noise about laws suits and such, then all of a sudden she settled down and took an exit. I'd bet my next pay check there was a long hard conversation with the DNC power brokers and she was told if she'd bow out now and let Obama take the nomination that he was clearly going to win anyway, they'd give her full backing in 8 years.

First, I want to dispatch that popular vote problem because it goes far beyond Hillary's anemic campaign and why she failed to win by a large margin against the most unpopular presidential candidate in US history.

The electoral college may be viewed as a mere tool to prevent to maintain the status quo.....that may be true somewhat; but it.....like the Senate limit of two senators from each state regardless of size, both help prevent high populated states like New York, Texas and California from completely dominating the Federal Government.

If you believe that the system gives small states like Wyoming too much say for their size, consider the Canadian example, where the Liberal Party ruled for decades by concentrating on Ontario and Quebec, and ignoring the west and the maritime provinces. The result for many years were western separatist movements that posed a greater economic and political threat than any of the grandstanding by Quebec separatists....who could only try to bluff/and cou'd actually afford to leave.

Nowadays....even with a Liberal PM, the west is quiet, because they have more seats in Parliament, and if the push for more pipelines tells us anything, maybe the balance has shifted too far in their direction!
But, these are part of the costs of holding a federation together! It's just a question of wanting to keep a country together, or just letting it fly apart. And ofcoirse, that's not an issue for me to vote on......anymore.

Now, after all that, I really don't give a shit about talking about Hillary Clinton anyway.......so, I'll just leave it with the observation that a victory for Hillary would have been no more a victory for women than Barack was a victory for Black Americans! In both cases, these are self-serving elitist tools who demonstrate the folly of identity politics that avoids economic class issues like the plague!

I thought it was incredible that the Dems wouldn't challenge any polling results anywhere...just bitch aboit the EC and a week later decide that the Russians stole the election, instead of vote-caging, cross-checking, and bullshit voting machines with no audit trails!

When Jill Stein and the Green Party was able to raise the funds to mount legal challenges in three key states, the Dem Noise machine started a gaslighting social media campaign accusing her of grandstanding! And I keep asking: what the fuck is the Democratic Party there for?

@Right to Left

Note: Although we are often opponents, the following is not intended to be a 'back-handed' comment, but a serious suggestion

Have you considered starting a Blog or writing Amazon 'self-published' books? You certainly write in enough length and have a lot to say--if you formalized it more, you could potentially get paid to have your ideas 'out there' for broader public consumption.
