Am I alone? Did anyone's parents teach you differently? Did they or he or she place hope in your maturing into a person holding the values displayed by Donald Trump?

To be fair, or a person like Bill Clinton?
Mom and Dad's minor was Botany and they taught me botany. My maternal grandmother used the N word which made my paternal grandmother cry. My paternal grandfather taught me how to shoot a gun and my maternal grandfather took me rides in his motor boat.

Mom passed away 5 years ago but Dad is still going strong at 94. Dad said you need to cut back the mulberry bush because it is blocking the front door.

edit: Mulberries are edible but an acquired taste.

I found this quote too and will post two more sentences from it.

Wise words.

Quote:
"[T]here is now more tolerance for dishonesty in politics than I have seen in my lifetime. And I've been alive for one-third of the time the United States has existed."

"And as my generation can tell you: The only thing more dangerous than dishonest politicians with no respect for the law, is a chorus of enablers who defend their every lie."

"Extreme partisanship is like an infectious disease. But instead of crippling the body, it cripples the mind."
Mike Bloomberg

Rice University

And of special note, IMO - The only thing more dangerous than dishonest politicians with no respect for the law, is a chorus of enablers who defend their every lie."

Here's one of the many things I DON'T GET. Most of us have criticized our presidents through the years. We never agree with everything they say or do or plan or spend on or support. We don't always agree with their foreign policy--their budgetary priorities--their views on immigration, military deployment, environmental decisions or healthcare plans, but the Trump supporters NEVER and I MEAN NEVER even question him? HOW is this possible?

If just once *JUST ONCE* they would say "That should have been handled differently" or "I don't agree with him on this one" or "That was badly worded" or "I question that decision" or "That was NOT TRUE".........**JUST ONCE**.

But they never do. NEVER NEVER EVER do they waver. Trump is always right, always correct, always says and does the right thing, always always always...according to the cult. HIS speeches are great. His treatment of others is just dandy. His viewpoints are acceptable. His past is...well...no big deal. He doesn't lie. He is a moral, ethical Christian...according to his voters.

That is absolutely frightening. This kind of adoration or homage or devotion is EXTREME to the max and it's dangerous.

In my personal opinion SOME of the qualities that make a person a successful politician SHOULD disqualify people from even being allowed to run for public office.

One can only hope.
It is a difficult world to navigate when the schools are filled w/ leftist platitudes and ridiculous postmodernist ideology but it is possible.

If Trump's crossed that line that you fail to recognize him as a useful tool (which is what politicians are), I think you've drawn that line a little too close to home.

only Trump could have saved us from the disaster that is clinton. We should have elected him almost 10 years ago. He'd have had a lot of things fixed by now.
