Like you I also have a say (For now) on the way our tax dollars are spent, funding ultra progressive universities is akin to putting a knife to my own throat.

History has shown us that government creating protected classes and pitting one against the other leads to destruction regardless of good intentions or beliefs.

I can only suggest to you and others is to put some effort in to becoming "more so" self efficient.

As the world moves quicker, it leaves many behind. It is up to the individual to figure out how to survive and thrive or die on the vine, not government or safe spaces. Safe Spaces by nature create isolation and division.

And Clara007, you are not above stereotyping and name calling, I have been reading post here for a good 8 months or so....and the post below exhibits such.

The pendulum keeps moving.

I thought you and your kindred spirits (OOPS--was that stereotyping?) would appreciate my efforts to embrace the Trump movement. So, now, I get to talk like a man. I'm going to spit, cuss, talk smart, and encourage violence. YEP! That's me. Bring it on, Dude. Here's my violent post du jour.

Tiny wood sounds appropriate. Anything else?

you shouldn't low rate yourself like that.
It's been my experience that people who talked shit about elitism and college either couldn't cut it there or are jealous of people who did.
Btw I worked my way through college .
It was worth every cent
Lately it's seems a lot of people treat an education as a crime.
Thanks from imaginethat and Clara007

One of the great things about working our way through college is finding out what we DON'T want to do for the rest of our lives. I worked as a waitress for four years. Lots of funny stories, but oh my achin' feet AND back.

I can talk shit (Opinion) and not to much you can do about it. As for your false narrative of jealousy and could not cut it? You can do better formulating a strong basis as to why many parents and students are toting around debt after graduating all the while underemployed or not employed at all having a major that private industry does not seek.

Time with you and I on the forum will pan out and speak for itself, looking forward to it.

Are you defending academia's elitism? If so, I would enjoy smoking you after dinner. Would you like me to start a thread on the subject? You can present your Pro's and I will rebut with the Con's.

Anywho, let me know.
