It's tactless and tacky, and hard on the ears.

I think celebrity has gone to his head ... both of them.
I think it's tacky too. But it's his choice. I'd guess the advertisers will be the ultimate arbitrators.

And I would guess that he was getting tired of appealing to kids and wanted to be able to broaden his potential content. It's new, he's experimenting. And at his level, I'm sure he has a producer and writers. I don't think you can pin it all on him.

Netflix does not have "advertisers"

I find it amusing that they are claiming to "refute anti science" claims and address the political influence on science.

I meant subscribers/viewers.

But I don't understand your second point. He chose to present sexuality in an amusing (I assume was the intent) way. Why do you consider that political?

And it's in fact to explore the relationship of science with politics.

Because the "gender spectrum" malarkey is anti-science. It takes away from his credibility to attack any other anti-science debates.

I saw him recently on an interview and he was not interested in any sort of meaningful discussion. This Global warming crap is not science at all. Its a religion.

I do not think a B.S. in Engineering grants one much scientific credibility.
