I didn't use the word FREE in my post. Why are YOU using it?

Because I am making the point that college "provided" in Europe for free is paid for by very very high taxes. Its not the point you want to make it is the point I want to make.

If for 65% of my income (I already pay between 40% and 50%) I got everything I get in America PLUS health care PLUS free college education PLUS free eyecare and dental, I'd be all for it.
Thanks from Hollywood

Well, that's because you're rational, our right wing friends have escaped that affliction.
Thanks from Hollywood

Skills, Jobs and Wages is a good slogan. Glad to hear that the DNC is jumping on the RNC bandwagon for a ride but the RNC still pulls the wagon.

Sweet Jesus, Sab. If you were any more deliberately obtuse you'd be a potted plant.

Do you have a link to post? Anything? Anything?
Thanks from Fayt and Hollywood

Marketable skills can be obtained in more than one way.
Maybe I didn't make myself as clear. It's not easy to land a high skill paying job without education. Specifically, college education. It's also hard when there are no well paying jobs to suit your skill. In economics this is called Underemployment. This is where your skills isn't being utilized.

The DNC Democrats don't have a clear massage for dealing with these issues. At least, I'm not sure what they are. They're not for free collage and not for doing away with Free Trade.

Maybe I'm wrong. Please prove it

My proof is personal experience. I have talked myself into more than one good paying job that I had no training for. The first day on the jobs I proved myself finding solutions to problems that college educated engineers could not find. However, I went to the Georgia Tech, Library and read a lot of books.

In a loose sense, I am a Rambling Wreck from Georgia Tech.

Well no shit Sherlock. Guess what else is not free but benefits the country as a whole and is supported by taxes?
The military, law enforcement, etc. etc. etc.
