The DNC Democrats don't have a clear massage for dealing with these issues. At least, I'm not sure what they are. They're not for free collage and not for doing away with Free Trade.

Maybe I'm wrong. Please prove it
For the love of God, the process of obtaining marketable skills IS education.

Do you have a link to post? Anything? Anything?

It's not that complicated. Sorry I figured that the hive mind would have downloaded the new slogan directly into you.

Sorry if you were off line.

It would cost you an additional 30% of your gross income in taxes just to 'free' single payer health care. That would put you at 70% to 80% without the 'free' college.

Maybe but, not all people learn alike, I for one learn better buy doing things hands on, and then I continue to streamline that skill and make it more valuable to the company. I am a free lance engineer with no college degree, but I am darn good at what I do. I even teach what I do now.

No shit. Did i say they did? Did i say anything about traditional 4 year college?
Of course there are trade schools, apprenticeship, union sponsored programs to get people trained in the trades such as plumbing electrician, carpentry, etc.

I would not advise a young man or women to put on a resume seeking a job in the engineering department of a major corporation or government agency that they did not go to college and obviously do not have an a accredited degree in engineering. HR will immediately throw it in the trash, won't even bother to interview you.
If it worked for you cool, but you are not the country.

Much educational effort goes towards non-marketable skills. General BA degrees are a great thing for society in general, in that the more educated a populous is, the more intelligent decisions they tend to make.

But they are not a ticket to job security at all. And anyone who enters their BA program thinking they will walk straight into a $60k/y job are stupid.
Thanks from Sabcat and Clara007

Where in the world did you come up with that figure?

First one lie to correct. Denmark's maximum tax rate is 60.2%, and that is only on income over some level. But they also have the most comprehensive safety net I'm aware of.

But why is it that the entire developed world other than the US can achieve effectively single payer medical systems of various kinds when their maximum tax rates are at or below 50%?

And they all use a marginal tax rate system.
