the doctor wasnt. he did the right thing by waiting and ensuring it was a persisting situation, and didnt give a kneejerk response. mum fed her someone elses drugs illegally. this is an article about why you should listen to your doctor.

so why post it? this isnt an article about "transgender people", its an article about "stupid parent who thinks she knows more than the experts". there is no reason to think this is ever going to be the norm.

I agree, and think for the most part you and I agree on this issue.

There are people who feel that it is up to the kids. That theses confused children are somehow heros for coming out as trans. In this victim points, attention whore culture this combined w/ the transtrenders and virtue singnling parents is a recipe for disaster.

pretty sure we do agree. part of the transgender situation is recognising that teenagers can be confused, moody, can and do go through phases and try on different identities. thats why the medical approach is to acknowledge that someone may be trans and then do nothing permanent until years have passed and its certain that the trans-ness is a persisting phenomena. THEN you do something.

if a child wanted a spider tattooed on their face and their parents said "its good they are expressing themselves, who am i to judge, everyone should respect his choices" and actually allowed their child to have a spider tattooed on their face, that would be idiotic. but the parent might consider it healthy liberal values, a sign of independence and self expression. i would consider this a form of child abuse, a total failure of a parent to be a parent, and a terrible outcome. i think you would agree. and i think a parent who gives their 10 year old son female hormones is in the same category for the same reasons. but the problem isnt transgenderness itself, the problem is idiotic parents.

We have this being not only introduced but pushed on children from a very young age and there is the narrative that it is child abuse if you do not entertain these delusions where I would think that in most cases it should be the exact opposit.


What if your child wanted to be blind and identified as a blind person? Would you give them surgery to make them blind?

If you did that you would be concidered a monster yet people are entertaining this in children all the time and when they are making choices to stop puberty (or what not) because of this these are irreversible decisions. I believe that the negative repercussions of these actions should be openly talked about as this has become such a mainstream "issue" but when you bring things like this up you are dubbed a "transphobic".
