As much as I would LOVE to discuss every aspect of the OP with you, I'll ask the same question I have asked for years. Here it is:

If conservatives are SO disgusted--so outraged--so incensed, offended, appalled by the number of "SOCIALISTS-slash-LIBERALS" in our public schools and universities, WHY don't conservatives (the really smart guys who think like you) BECOME educators???

Easy solution, don't you think?? Go for it. Knock yourself out. BECOME an academic and change the world. CHANGE the thinking. SHAPE those young minds. Scoot--get busy!! Get that PhD....then YOU too can get those government grants and goodies....OH BUT yes--you don't want them. Right.

I know even better is that the thread was started in 2015...

We first need to change the system then we will again see it open up more.

Again. This is language laws sprouting buds.
So this is a major systemic problem....

That has affected a total of two school boards, one in Minnesota, the other in Mississippi.

No wonder you despise education, your own is pitiful....

The books are skewed in favor of the author. The officers left college books laying around and I read them, mostly history books. Did you know that FDR had a military parade down Pennsylvania Avenue? If FDR did it then DJT can do it.

If we are going to censor Literature traditionally read in high school, get rid of Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet were teenage kids, probably 15 years old or so, "in love". They wanted to be together, but their families were against it (the families hated each other for some reason but still they were teenage kids). The kids disregarded the wishes of their families and tried to run off together. When that failed, they committed suicide.

So basically the story is one of teenagers who didn't get what they wanted in life, disobeyed their parents, ran away and killed themselves. Uh, do we really need to tell this story to young minds?

Minnesota, while Midwestern is very liberal, about as liberal as California. I for one disagree strongly with censorship and to me it is against the First Amendment. Now should pornography be allowed in school and in a school library? Is there a line to be drawn?

The word nigger is a word. That's it. Do you know who uses the word nigger the most? Niggers! To Kill a Mockingbird is a very progressive and left wing book, which dealt with white racism and the railroading of an innocent black man. Huck Finn was written by one of the greatest American writers who ever lived, Mark Twain. Twain, unlike that English wanker Shakespeare wrote wonderful stories and tales loved by people for over a century. Forgetting history is not the answer. How do we learn of we don't know where we came from?

Hold on there. Lots of cartoons are way too violent. They must also be banned.

Yes lets remove 2 books that are opposing racism, jim crowe and slavery.

I guess the world will be better off if we forget these ever occur.

Because that way we can repeat the stupidity.

The Fascist left are trying to revise history.
