School’s decision to refuse girls right to say no if boys ask them to dance

Quote:

A mother has been left outraged after her daughter’s school introduced a policy that states students aren’t allowed to say “no” when asked to dance.

Natalie Richard, from Utah, was speaking to her sixth-grade daughter about the upcoming Valentine’s Day dance at her school, Kanesville Elementary, when she was told about the controversial rule.

Her daughter explained that teachers had told the students, aged between 11 and 12, that they had to say “yes” when someone asked them to dance.

In disbelief, Ms Richard said that she must have misunderstood what they were saying.

However, after speaking to the school she soon realised that the statement was accurate.

“The teacher said she can’t. She has to say yes. She has to accept, and I said, ‘Excuse me’,” Ms Richard told Fox 13.

Shocked by the policy, the mother took her concerns to the school principal but was told that that’s just how they organise their dances.

The party of hypocrisy and double standards is at it again. I feel terrible for children who have to look to these lunatics as role models.

What are these people thinking ?? In a world where for many boys/men no does't always mean NO, WTF ?? Now they're going to instill in both genders the notion that girls are not even allowed to say NO much less MEAN IT ?? Surprising coming out of Utah. I'd expect such nonsense from California or one of the New England states.

Slow day at the home, huh?

Getting outraged at a Valentine dance for pre teens.

It's even worse, the kids aren't allowed to bring guns to the dance...

What if a girl asks a boy? Is he allowed to decline? What if a boy asks another boy?

You find this stuff in a humor thread I started a while back. You can’t even make fun of liberals hardly anymore. They exceede every stereotype.

"HAVE to look to these lunatics as role models."
Where on earth would you get a crazy idea like that? Please explain.

Real simple solution. Don't attend the dance. Organize a boycott of it.
