Its a bunch of shit.

Imo if she can make the mens/boys team then she should be allowed to compete at that level but they shouldn't let her on it just because of some crazy social justice reasons. But when, and i emphasize WHEN some guy rips her arms off don't come crying to me about it.
But if/when she gets there she would have to do so w/o performance enhancing drugs and if she tests positive then she should be treated like any other athlete world wide who cheats.

I don't care about girls sports. I have two daughters. I spend far more time at girls varsity events than i do boys.

My argument here, in this thread on this subject is very simple and clear. The girl took drugs that gave her an unfair advantage. These are the type of drugs that athletes have been taking for years to give them an unfair advantage and have been banned from every single sanctioned event that i can think of. (Ask the Russian Olympic team) i do not think that just because a person says that they are "transgender" they should be exempt from the rules that apply to everybody else on. The planet.

If this does not get addressed it will destroy womens sports.

Could you clarify this part of not caring about girls sports and trashing the WNBA earlier/while having two daughters! What exactly are you teaching them? If you're attending varsity events, I'm assuming it's mainly to watch your girls play/yet you don't care about their sports and talk like it's something you have to put up with. Doesn't sound encouraging!
Thanks from Lyzza

1. He is not a girl.

2. He is not taking illegal performance enhancing drugs.

3. Athletes in many sports can take testosterone under a doctor's supervision and NOT be breaking any rules in their sport.

4. He is not just "claiming" to be transgender to have an advantage over girls ---> he is transgender and wants the same right as other boys to wrestle boys. The state of Texas will not let him.

Try to keep up Sabcat.

Let's take a look at my post that you conveniently did not quote, but chose to just paraphrase

Men and women are not the same!!! No matter how much these insane postmodernists cry that they are.

If this goes unchecked it will be the end of womens sports.

Now, i hate the wnba...but it still would suck if these girls no longer had a place to play because a bunch of washed out college boys decided to put on dresses to take their jobs. Seriously. Were are the womens rights activists on this one?

So...what were you trying to say again?

I quoted and corrected it. With the hope that you would educate yourself a bit more on the issue concerning this high school boy and his situation.

Clearly that was a waste of my time.......

The hell are talking about, 'did not quote?' I separated out this part:

but that bizarre comment was sandwiched in between your diatribe about a transgendered man competing against boys that still doesn't give a reason why someone transitioning from female to male should not be allowed to compete against boys...if anything, Mack is trying to swim upstream, and the fundies in Texas running state high school athletics can't provide any sensible reasons why not. I figured since you're so invested in this topic you wanted to post about it for the 2nd time, that you would have something to offer.

So, how are your girls doing at varsity sports...whatever they're competing in exactly, since it sounds like you consider it a waste of your time to be there!
If they happen to be playing basketball, would you consider it a waste of time if they went from college to play in the WNBA?

I have already addressed every point you are trying to make besides your absurd implication that i somehow or another find attending girls varsity sports a waste of time.

Your post is a garbage attempt to attack me for some reason.

It's not an attack/ I'm trying to find a logical path in your arguments, and as a sidenote wondering why you keep doubling back to this story on a regular basis.

My argument is very simple. We are allowing men to enter womens sports under they guise of being transgender and they are dominating and we are allowing women to take performance enhancing drugs also under the guise of being transgender.nthey are dominating. Where does this leave the female athletes?
