Did Sanger write or say that, & what is the rest of the text? A cite would be good. I've read a lot of her public statements, & while she stumped for funds with eugenicists (it was all the rage then), she was opposed to abortion, & I believe she was also opposed to forced sterilization.

The first problem with the quote is that she was of Irish descent herself, & being Irish @ the time in big-city Eastern US was no picnic. (She was also a nurse, worked in the tenements, & saw poverty & the effects of too-large families first hand.) She was interested in putting the timing of births into the hands of the prospective parents, & failing that, in the hands of the prospective mothers.

Ever heard of Sanger's "Negro Project?"

I doubt it, since liberals like to keep their dirty little secrets out of the light of day.

"The aim of the program was to restrict, many believe exterminate, the black population. Under the pretense of better health and family planning, Sanger cleverly implemented her plan. What’s more shocking is Sanger’s beguilement of black America’s crème de la crèmethose prominent, well educated and well-to-dointo executing her scheme. Some within the black elite saw birth control as a means to attain economic empowerment, elevate the race and garner the respect of whites.

The Negro Project has had lasting repercussions in the black community: We have become victims of genocide by our own hands, cried Hunter at the Say So march."

It's taken out of context, and taken in context, she is saying the exact opposite of what the liars who post that half a sentence imply.

Quote:
“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members,” she wrote. It was, as the Washington Post called it, an “inartfully written” sentence, but one that, in context, describes the sort of preposterous allegations she feared — not her actual mission. The irony is that it has been used to propagate those very allegations. Cruz’s letter to the director of the National Portrait Gallery, for example, quotes only the first half of the sentence.

So rightist, do you favor keeping alive a severely brain damaged child who faces a very short life of pain and suffering?

Would you prefer the child be left at a bus stop at 3 AM, "American Style"?

Is it costing the tax payer of Britain any money to fly the child to Italy to seek further treatment? I really do not know the answer to that, but if its not, then fuck the UK, they are wrong. If it is, then I would probably say they, being the government has a vested interest.
