Of course I can show the correlation. I wouldn't have posted it without a correlation. With a little effort, even you can find it to.

Clearly, enough parents made a decision that opposed "progressive" demands that forced the BSA to admit girls. By the way, are boys admitted into the girl scouts?

I wouldn't want my daughter (if I had children) to be in the Girl Scouts because of those stupid ass cookies. To me it is a scam, having children sell that crap. Children shouldn't have to do this, they should be children and their parents should be able to afford to pay for their activities without making some cookie company money who are legally using underage labor.

Camping is for homeless people. Do we really want to teach our children that?

I do know that they allow young MTF transgender girls to join, but non trans boys? I genuinely don't know. I will say that GSA will lose enrollment over this decision by BSA.

If BSA was complaining about falling enrollment before the decision to admit girls how, exactly, are the parents making a decision that opposed "progressive" demands? Please explain.

Teaching kids to connect with nature through camping is not a bad thing. It is a positive to teach children.

Honestly, since my kids were grown, all of the cookies I have purchased have been from parents bringing order sheets to work. No actual scouts involved.

Guess what? You can STILL send your kids to a unisex camp. You’re acting like the BSA or GSA are the only people running such organizations. Hell, start your own if you’re so offended.

I feel as though that this is mostly about the Eagle Scout status that is earned by Boy Scouts, but there is no real equivalent for girls in the Girl Scouts. I remember some of the older guys involved in my group who were running it talking about how the Boy Scouts tried to combine with the Girl Scouts to form one single organization, but I believe something about the cookie sales, believe it or not, made the whole thing fall apart. So I guess that this is just them trying to do it anyway. I suppose that girls should be allowed to become Eagle Scouts, at least give them the chance to try. It'll encourage good behavior and an outdoors spirit in women, who I feel are more inclined to be caught up in the material.

But what I don't like, I guess, is that I feel like that boys and girls need time to themselves. I feel as though that I spent a lot of time around girls in school and at home that when I was at the scouts, it was good to just be with other guys. Not sure why, but just a feeling. Maybe one needs to encourage "better behavior" but I don't see why the need for being with other men without the presence of women is wrong.
It's not only not wrong, it's vital for a male.
