Have you seen the show 'shut eye' w/ Jeffery Donovan (burn notice) it's pretty and on hulu. Check it out.
Thanks. I will.

People shy away from these "communicate with nature" discussions. I wonder why?

The Bishop of Rome has to clean up the Vatican first before he tackles the rest of Italy. I was going to buy a Lamborghini but they got infested with demons.

Something is very wrong with the Catholic mind set and world view. They have graven images in their church for starters.

The hierarchy, yes, it has invented many non-biblical doctrines, but I've met many fine Catholic people; some were exceptional.

IMO there is a lot to it. People are pack animals, especially the lower thinking ones. Add that to the years of religious indoctrination that many have endured and it is a natural reaction. I remember when we were newly married we went to stay w/ my inlaws. She was very adamant about me not bringing my Buddha statue into her house, you know the 10 commandments n all.

Deeper is that people know inside there is much more to the world and something is not right but they just cannot put their finger on it. Maybe they are embarrassed because they do not listen anymore. Or it scares them that they may have been told lies all of their lives. The fear of death and the unknown if very powerful in some people.

I also believe that society has been drugged for as long as society has been around so we are more compliant and cannot pay close attention, or hear the world around us.

The good people in the Church are the ones who are exploited by the Church...like the Catholic nuns I read about in a story three days ago but forgot to bookmark.

I did psychic readings for a while. I told people things about themselves that deep inside they knew but had kept to themselves (they asked for the readings so it wasn't intrusive). But I knew that we are more than meets the eye and it is available if one can allow themselves to see it. I've known other psychics who are far, far better at it than I am, but we don't attribute it to anything outside of ourselves.
I have several friends who insist that I'm psychic. I'm not. I'm just able to read body language and micro expressions very well.

I have found that 'knowing' things about people that they don't want known can become a giant pain in the ass.

Split pea soup al dente, anyone?

Yah, well, hopes to train is what it sounds like.

You would think that the hierarchical church would get a clue & train more & better psychological screeners for the incoming candidates for permanent diaconate, brotherhood & priesthood. But no, even the church succumbs to the temptation of trying to turn comic books into big-budget action thriller shooter movies for 15-year-old poorly socialized boys.

If there's a real rise in calls for exorcism in Italy, it's more likely due to the rise & fall & resurgence of S. Berlusconi (bunga bunga!) & perusing too many fumetti among the youngsters there.
