I disagree. Typos happen...to everyone. They are everywhere, but BAD spelling and grammar---not acceptable. Correct spelling and grammar can be learned-- or at least researched.

You are the one in error.
The Trump administration is considering turning the International Space Station over to the private sector and ending its federal funding, according to an internal NASA document obtained by the Washington Post. The proposal envisions an environment where NASA is “one of many customers of a non-governmental human space flight managed and operated enterprise” at the ISS.
One of many customers.
On Sunday, the Post reported that the White House plans to stop funding the orbiting laboratory in 2024 and will work on a transition plan to turn it over to the private sector.
When you turn something over to someone else, you're giving up control.
The proposal doesn’t say which companies would take over or what private enterprise might want to do with the station. It’s also worth noting that anything like this is far from becoming a reality (although President Trump tweeted his congratulations to Elon Musk and SpaceX earlier this week).

Make up your mind statists.
You mean, "privatization." You, of all people, should know that "privatization" is PC for the state choosing winners and losers.

Nasa is a ginormous money pit and imo its funding should be pulled. Let the private companies have the space race.

What can the state do that the market cannot do better?

Push the frontiers of science forward when no profit is to be made, that's what.

The spinoffs from the space program touch many areas of our lives. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_s..._food_printing

Ginormous money pit? The "defense" budget. That's indefensibly ginormous.

Space exploration is the our nation's highest and finest achievement, imo.

Nope the control and the maintaining of the station will be in the hands of NASA. The use of the space station will be open to PRIVATE companies and individuals. This will not happened to 2024.. The Viable life of the Station will end in 2028. So what happens is that private industry can pay NASA for access to the Space Station from 2024-2028 (4-5 years according to when the date that FEDERAL funding ends and the date viablility is exceeded.)

Yes "Stop Funding" and turn the FUNDING over to the private sector. that is FUNDING not CONTROL.

Please, explain the magic behind maintaining the ISS after funds are cut off.

While you're at it, please explain "control."

Are you suggesting private companies will pay to be on the ISS and NASA will tell them what to do? That's preposterous.
