You can roll up ABC, NBC and CBS together and they will not equal Fox.
And that's true, they won't equal FOX.
If you roll up ABC,NBC and CBS together, they have TEN TIMES the viewers that FOX News does.

If you spend even ten percent of your effort trying to have civil discourse with others that you deem as your "opponents" instead of you trying to insult, ridicule or humiliate, you would become a true debater to be reckoned with instead of being seen as yet another partisan on a troll's foolish errand.

It is okay to disagree. I will try my hardest to be polite and civil when I do. Will you?

So Fox has the most viewers and he says the next three networks have less and if you add the viewers of those three they somehow miraculously have 10 times as many viewers as Fox News.

Lets say Fox has 4 viewers and

MSNBC 3 viewers
ABC 2 viewers
CBS 1 viewer

40 viewers

Thread started by a cuckenadian.

Doesn't care about his liberties being taken away by his ultra progressive government but wants to log on here to try and tell Americans what is best for them.

Maybe you should rake your own back yard before you worry about other people's.

If the image isn't clear enough on your monitor, the source is:

Here Are The Most- And Least-Trusted News Outlets In America - Business Insider
From what I read of your Business Insider story, it doesn't actually tell us anything about accuracy or honesty of any news source...just which ones people trust most and least. That doesn't necessarily mean they have good reasons for either!

Lately, I've been reading the new book by Douglas Valentine: The CIA As Organized Crime..about various programs under the operational arm of the agency. Throughout the book, there are several entries on how the CIA has co-opted media since the early 50's under Allen Dulles right through to the present day. In short, the CIA has used numerous tactics to leverage influence within mainstream media including getting agents in the field as foreign correspondents. Valentine cites a story Carl Bernstein wrote back in 1977 for Rolling Stone...apparently when Bernstein was actually telling the truth to his audience, and follows through to their enhanced media manipulation tactics in the present day:
"Carl Bernstein, citing CIA documents, said basically the same thing in his famous 1977 expose for Rolling Stone, “The CIA and the Media: How America’s Most Powerful News media Worked Hand in Glove with the Central Intelligence Agency and Why the Church Committee Covered It Up.” The CIA established a strategic intelligence network of magazines and publishing houses, as well as student and cultural organizations, and used them as front organizations for covert operations, including political and psychological warfare operations directed against American citizens. In other nations, the program was aimed what Cord Meyer called the Compatible Left, which in America translates into liberals and pseudo-intellectual status seekers who are easily influenced. All of that is ongoing, despite being exposed in the late 1960s.

Various technological advances, including the internet, have spread the network around the world, and many people don’t even realize they are part of it, that they’re promoting the CIA line. “Assad’s a butcher,” they say, or “Putin kills journalists,” or “China is repressive.” They have no idea what they’re talking about, but they spout all this propaganda. Nowadays it goes way beyond the CIA. Several government agencies are propagandizing not only the American people but the world. This includes the State Department and the military. The military is the nation’s biggest advertiser, I believe, and the media depends on its revenue. Television, especially, isn’t dependent on viewers, but on advertisers. So the media is probably more financially dependent on the military and the State Department than it is on the CIA. But the CIA laid the groundwork. The question one has to ask, given all this propaganda, is what makes CIA propaganda different than State Department or military propaganda, or even the red white and blue advertisements being thrown at the American people every second of every day. Everywhere you look there are signs wrapped in American flags selling things, and that’s propaganda too, it’s just emanating from the Business Party. What makes CIA propaganda different?"
(from "The CIA as Organized Crime: How Illegal Operations Corrupt America and the World" by Douglas Valentine)

Other parts of the book talk about how the CIA tries to reign in and re-focus any populist discontent by manipulating media they call "The Compliant Left." It might explain how some media that's considered radical left like DemocracyNow if anyone's familiar with Amy Goodman's Pacifica Radio news program, that appears radical on certain issues....like police shootings of unarmed black men, the Standing Rock Pipeline blockade this past winter/but parrots the State Dept line when it comes to regime change in Libya, Syria, Ukraine etc., and never goes back to examine those stories when things go bad! It's as if Democracy Now is out there (generously funded by some major charitable endowments) to appeal to a radical left audience and give them much of what they're looking for, but inserting the official propaganda as needed.

So, if I step back and take a look at media in general, I don't have implicit trust in any media source! Some, are absolutely useless on everything - like CNN, most MSM are not much better, while even the media I turn to the most, I have some issues I think I can trust their intentions/and others I don't. It's a matter of sifting through the rubble for useful information.
