There are 50% Fewer School shootings than occurred during the Clinton Assault weapons ban, The Decade of death.

Schools are safer than they were in the 90s, and school shootings are not more common than they used to be, researchers say - News @ Northeastern

? Go (...) myself because I want bullying to (actually) be addressed more efficiently and on a much larger scale?

Actually, 9/11 is a perfect example..

It amazes me that the same people who argue 9/11, Middle East hatred/violence toward the West/US, etc. is at least partly predicated on Foreign Policy abuses by the West (i.e. unintended 'blowback'), do not take a similar stance as it relates to school shootings, but rather scapegoat the choice weapon of violence as the root cause. Why is not being addressed, sufficiently--but made peripheral(?) Attempt to explain how the two concepts are not related; if that is your position.

Note: When I say it 'amazes me...', I know why this happens (and it is unsurprising)--I am just asking for people to remain logically consistent and stand by their own claimed views/principles.
What are you not understanding?

NO ONE IS SCAPEGOATING THE CHOICE OF WEAPON AS THE ROOT CAUSE.

Can you at least acknowledge this point before continuing with the conversation?
Thanks from Lyzza

@Nwolfe

No--because it is not accurate. As I stated previously, we now have at least one self-admitted bully of this kid moralizing to the nation that particular guns she does not like are the culprit here.

Lyzza, this is all about deflection. If the topic is "School Shootings" and we don't LIKE the topic?? CHANGE the topic. AND as usual, our friends on the ALT Right, including Mr. I HAVE WENT to High SchoolAm AthleticallySuperiorandAttractive (sigh) accuse YOU of deflection, obfuscation, etc. when the pot/kettle boyman is doing the same.

He is conceited, overbearing and hubristic--just like Sabcat, Jimgorn, and others.
Obviously, as women, we should have NO opinions. As a teacher, I know NOTHING AT ALL about bullying, school policy, counseling or safety issues. You, as a continuing education student, know NOTHING because....again...all you can offer is distraction. LOL
Thanks from RNG and Lyzza

Interesting--I thought you said I (and others) are the ones deflecting the issue? What do you call that post?
Thanks from Sabcat and Jimgorn

@Clara

? What does this have anything (in particular) to do with women? As in, how are you managing to claim this as a case gender discrimination?

I call it sending a personal reply to a friend....and BTW, there's no way you are a high school graduate. Why lie about it?

Examples of your highly educated intelligence:

"I thought you said I ARE THE ONES deflecting the issue?"

"I have WENT to high school."

Did you attend high school (or 8th grade) in another country? Somalia? Malawi? Republic of the Congo?
Thanks from Lyzza

@Clara

That is the opposite of what I said. I am stating you did/do know, and you were (almost definitely) complicit (to varying degrees) like (nearly) everyone else. The system treats it as though it were normal, 'business as usual'--and you know it.
Thanks from Jimgorn

The real irony is that I am (almost definitely) far more academically successful than you are. So, your attempted appeal to authority on the matter of intellect to the formal education system is very sad, indeed.
Thanks from Sabcat and Jimgorn
