Liberalism requires a closed minded and intolerant view of anything that smacks of personal responsibility. Personal, rational thought is outweighed by the herd mentality.

That's about the dumbest thing a conservative could say....congratulations! Conservatism, by its very principles, was created as a force to resist change unless change is believed to be advisable or necessary.

Obviously, conservatism and liberalism in practice have little to do with conservative or liberal principles...and that's why I didn't bother commenting on the OP! If modern day liberals in America have taken on most of the Fortress America mentality (except on immigration), being a liberal American doesn't necessarily have a whole lot to do with being open minded and carefully considering new ideas or evidence. But, is that the same thing as having a liberal outlook on life?

I as a conservative, have seen what happens with the changes that Liberals want to make..

I as a conservative will listen to Liberals present their case, have and still do.

Liberals will burn campuses to prevent Conservatives presenting their Ideas. if you disagree liberals want you shut down totally.

That goes from Social issue, Government Issues, Climate change .... ....

Conservatives will attend speakers and during the Q&A they will debate the issue, Liberals will burn to prevent the speaker from saying a single word, much less willing to debate.

Broken record here: Both sides do this and not many on this site can accept that. However, if you try to look at his objectively then that person is sitting on a fence or is naive. Therefore....
There is no room for reason or rational discussion.
Thereby...
Conservatives rock the place and liberals suck big ol hairy balls.

Modern liberalism isn't about the individual freedoms, they push victimhood or vilianiazation of the collective. (this is most seen in Gun control, take the rights of law abiding because an INDIVIDUAL violated the law, WHITE PRIVILAGE crap)

My views have never been so easily encapsulated by a definition.

I am proud of who i am and not what others define me as.
