DON'T fall into that trap! Loose, convenient, "unscientific" use of the word "socialism" only adds to the existing confusion and disinformation about it. We may have vaguely "socialist-type" features to the USA, but we don't have socialism, because socialism is an economic form that the USA is viciously, rabidly opposed to and seeks to confuse and disarm the public about it as protection.

Just common sense.
Oh, you mean this could actually do what the RW has been lying that trickle down would do all these years?

But on a local level.
You see if a billionaire corporation gets more money/profits there are indeed able to open up a new plant and MIGHT actually do that. But, it's just as likely that new plant will be in Vietnam of Pakistan.

If a couple of thousand working people get that increase the money is spent locally.

From what I'm seeing, it's pretty much the Venezuelan citizens that are doing that in response to their governments mistakes.

But WHERE are you "seeing that"? What's your source?

Venezuela’s real world currency – the bolivar – is worth less than fake gold in Azeroth, the mythical setting of World of Warcraft.

At least, that’s the case if you judge the black market value of the bolivar, one of the most popular ways to change money in the country.

“Kaleb,” a Twitter user who claims to be a Venezuelan citizen, was the first to note the state of the country’s currency crisis earlier this month, saying the black market value of the bolivar (which is notably different than the official exchange rate set by the government) had fallen below that of the massively multiplayer game’s in-game gold.
