The Scandinavian countries, obviously, live under normal capitalism. The extreme form that flourishes in the US is possible only in an imperialist state exploiting the rest of the world.

Here is something from one of the reviews:
" I think some of the social policies that Scandinavia has could be successfully adopted in the U.S. despite our much more diverse and much larger population. It seems that there is always an emotional and often ugly debate in the U.S. between the advocates of free market capitalism and socialism/federal government control of the economy. I see a middle ground that is based on human decency, common sense and does not require an advanced degree in economics. It is clear that capitalism has benefited more people with material goods than any other system in history but when unrestrained by reasonable regulation and driven by greed, it has hurt people, animals and the environment. Most socialist/communist societies have failed - just look at Venezuela today. If we just had "Golden Rule" capitalism, we would have the proper balance between capital and labor and people, animals and the environment would be properly protected and not abused. Golden Rule capitalism, if ever implemented would create a successful utopia in my view."
I completely agree.

I tried to listen to it, but the ad for the Ron Paul Home Schooling curriculum seemed to be a signal that it would be a complete waste of time.

Cradle to the grave sounds great. For starters we can not afford it. The reason the nations you point to can is because we have provided their defense for them. See NATO and who pays what. Supporting plunging our dollar into worthless currency faster than the now liberal policies is nuts.

You mean you occupy their countries and destroy any government that doesn't please you. That is to make your rich richer, as you know. Take the money back from them if you want money, but remember they might bite you!

Destroy the bourgeois and seize the means of production or something like that huh comrade? No, I meant the USA provides for the defense of Europe as a whole still to this day against a questionable Russian threat and Islamic radicals. At the same time many European nations have policies inviting Islamic radical into their fold. Then NATO, which is mostly funded by the USA has to fight against radical Islamic groups. So, in short the United States is funding the defense of European nations policies. That is in fact what I mean.
