Cute. Caps play tonight. Hope they win and win the series. It gets a lot tougher from here.

Boston took a tough series from the Montreal Canadians, while Philadelphia, can't figure how, rallied to take down Buffalo, which came into the NHL playoffs 16-4-4 and the hottest team in the league. Ryan Miller, Sabres goalie, damn, fell apart in the clutch, let Philly win in OT up in Buffalo, and that was all she wrote. Figured Philadelphia to put on a great show vs. Boston, it was no match, the Bruins steamrolled em. Lots of people picking the Western Conference for the Stanley Cup championship in 2010-11, but I don't see anybody knocking off Boston the way they are playing. Bruins are the only Boston team I enjoy. Native of Buffalo, ages ago, Brady and the Pats have owned the Bills for a decade, and the Celtics against my Miami Heat, no love lost here. Can't stand those green bean stalks, but would take Doc Rivers as a Miami coach in a heartbeat. Red Sox nation? Fans are too paranoid, constantly mocking and losing to the Yankees, and ignoring the fact that Tampa Bay, Baltimore and Toronto seem to beat them regularly. Loved the Boston Globe newspaper headline a few years back, when Tampa went to the World Series against Philadelphia. The Sox had rallied to tie the Rays at 3-3, and typical Boston fans started celebrating early. Headline? "Rays The Dead." The next game, Tampa clubbed em down to go onto the World Series. In New England, the old saying is the Patriots are tolerated, the Bruins and Celtics are loved, and the Red Sox are revered.......Stan

Well, Boston played really well against Philadelphia. I hope they can keep it up against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Lakers are done. The two flagrant fouls really have no place in the NBA. That would be a red card in soccer. Hope Odom and Bynum serve some suspension at the start of next season.

If anything, I hope to see the Chicago Bulls win. Any team but Miami.

Well, we will see the bear dance at more Bruins playoff games, OtF. But we won't see Jack Nicholson anymore at the Lakers' playoff games since the Lakers were dispensed in quick fashion by Dallas.
