I don't like Trump. He is better by far than Hillary.

I am pleasantly surprised to agree with much of what he has done in office so far.

He did in fact say by way of obvious consequence of "not having run his best" that he could have won by more. The diference of having many competitors is only that he insulted more people.

I do not think he intended to be insulting. And I think that only makes it worse, the entire field of competitors is dismissed as beneath his need to notice.

My biggest defense of Trump was always that he was better than Hillary. Truly damning by way of faint praise.
