Need a little input here from football fans.

Quick conversation just to get away from election stuff now. More for those in Texas, but anyone is free to comment:
When Tony Romo is cleared to return; do you go with him, or stay with Dak Prescott?

Personally, I say to stay with Prescott. The young man has exceeded all hopes and expectations so far this year.
Thanks from Sabcat

I think Romo is decent, but he's damaged goods! not smart of Jerry Jones to give that contract extension to Romo with his recent history of major injury!
Thanks from Sabcat

you're a better man than me, Sabcat. 100 million for Romo was nothing short of foolish, to me! I never though he was worth that contract amount. But here in Chicagoland, we have the same problem with Jay Cutler; only we don't have a quarterback to replace him with!

That is what I ment. When you guys got the cutlet and brought in his boy to get the long ball I thought you were onto something. Then flop and lovie is suddenly coaching college ball. WTF?

This is Jay's last year in the money, right?

Afl players only get paid a max of 1 mil per year.(most only get 300,000). America has a population of 330,000,000. Australia's population is only 23 million. Australia does not have the tv rights or sponsorship that you yanks do. There is no way a player is worth 100 mil per year in Australia.

I think he has one or two more years under that contract, but I'd have to double check. Problem is: to trade him means finding a team with a GM stupid enough to pick up that contract! I say the Bears should just buy out the remaining portion of the guarantee, and release him outright. Cutler and Romo could be twins with their recent injury history.
They obviously have good agents, though!
Thanks from Sabcat

I think that this is his last year of guarantee cash, though I could be wrong.

They aren't beat up enough for the Vikings yet. I have no idea how we got sam he has to many years left in him to be our QB
