Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor: Boxing Expert Predictions

Quote:

Floyd Mayweather has tried to make it seem like Conor McGregor has a legitimate chance to beat him when the two meet in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Clearly, bettors are buying it, considering Mayweather is only a -400 favorite (meaning youíd have to bet $400 to win $100) and McGregor is a +300 underdog (meaning youíd win $300 by wagering $100).

Heck, even some boxers are predicting that McGregor might score the biggest upset in the sportís history.

But even with McGregor possibly gaining an advantage by using eight-ounce gloves instead of 10-ouncers and despite the fact Mayweather has tried to prop up the boxing neophyte with words of encouragement, thereís no real indication McGregor has any chance to beat Mayweather.

In my mind, hereís whatís going to happen.

McGregor will be aggressive early in the fight, because heís got nothing to lose. He wonít connect much with Mayweather, if at all, and by the fourth round, McGregor will be tired and frustrated. Thatís when Mayweather will move in to punish McGregor.

The only way this wonít be ripoff to those who are paying $99 for the PPV telecast is if Mayweather tries to knock out McGregor. Mayweather and his brittle hands havenít managed a stoppage since 2011 and has only recorded one in the last 10 years. But by the time the sixth round begins, McGregor will be ripe to be knocked to the canvas and out for good.

No way mayweather is better than Ali.

He is wicked smart though both in the ring and outside as a self promoter. Think of it like this. Mike Tyson is broke and made don king rich. Mayweather not only took a $300mill check last night but gave his opponent one for $100mil.

I didn't think that fight was going to go 5 rounds, I can't believe that mcgregor went that long. They went point for point for the first six. Then mayweather figured him out, tired him out and then technically knocked him out. That being said this was probably the first fight that he had where his opponent could literally kick his ass w/o the ref.

All in all it was a much better fight then I expected, though I lost a bit of money on it. I bet the mcgregor would get frustrated and kick mayweather in the head or something.
