Right! Cause the Earth keeps creating more and more gold ores underground..........................Gold grades declining rapidly: Dundee | CEO.CA

And for anyone who has never read a thing about mining or how the essential raw materials for civilization are taken out of the ground, ALL mining operations pick 'the low-hanging fruit first,' meaning...as long as market demand will make continued mining worth the costs, ore grades decline and more and more toxic metals and elements that have been underground throughout earth's history are brought to the surface to poison land and waterways.

But, at some point...and gold may be the first to experience this: the market will not be able to provide the prices that mining will demand. Especially when gold mining companies with US Gov backing want to open up operations in Central America and have to pay for private armies to defend their operations from locals who know they are being poisoned by the lead, arsenic and mercury runoff from the ores taken out of the ground! It all adds to the costs of doing business and it's worth asking whether some other rare metal will be applied to substitute for gold since it was already rare back in Roman times and is dwindling towards non-existence today.

'Free ice cream!' The New Democrat-political slogan. Sadly, it works.

Well, if you're referring to our upcoming Ontario Election, you're missing the background of the whole story:
1.all three major parties are promising no spending cuts
2. like in the USA, our Liberals are centrist Dem equivalents: promise left/govern right! They're trying to steal NDP policies now...like a $15. minimum wage, returning our privatized Hydro boondoggle back to public ownership, but more cynical voters like me are aware that corporate profits are at record levels while wages have stagnated or fallen; electricity rates have kept rising each year, and so has tuitions, while hospital wait times have increased, public transit has been cut back and become more crowded for users, rents are skyrocketing as no new public housing has been added etc.. so it's a little too late for centrist liberals to make the deathbed conversion to socialism up here...nobody's buying it!
3. the Conservatives somehow turned down two, more qualified, more moderate women to select the man (Doug Ford) who's claim to fame so far has just been Toronto city alderman and manager of his coke-addicted younger brother - Rob's campaign for mayor a few years back.

This has been considered the Conservative's election to lose for the past four years, and it's looking like that's exactly what they decided to do up here, as they once again select men who appeal to rightwing religious zealots and greedy businessmen and few others!
Thanks from Kate

Yeah, I used to listen to the Art Bell show 'Coast To Coast' every night on the radio when I was driving home from work too! It was fun, but I always wondered how many of the conspiracy theorist guests Art had on, that he actually believed in himself.
