[QUOTE=Jimgorn;1017817]irrelevant dribble... [?quote]

You're damned right it's irrelevant dribble. I took it from your posts, changing the nouns only.

and yet we can not fight two wars at once with ragtag militias....let alone two major powers with armies, navies and air forces like our fathers did..
Oh, I don't know about that. We haven't declared a war and gone on a war footing since WWII.

Now we fight kinder and gentler wars that go on and on and on. The criminal 16th Amendment keeps the rotten wheels in DC turning. Kinder and gentler, never-ending wars keep the military industrial complex fat and happy.

Not exactly....There is a whole lot more contemporary writings and debates that went on at the time of the writing of the Constitution than there is for the Bible....

The Federalist Papers...The States Ratification debates...letters from the authors like Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton etc. that give us a damn good idea just what was meant when the Constitution was written..

Are you a pirate ? Man o war is a reference towards sailing ships. It has nothing 2 do with the motorised baby ship you had 3 square meals on every day while marines and subscripted troops died buy the dozen every hour.
