And we are inhibited from putting the squeeze on china because they own so much of our debt. Though from what I've been reading the Russians are North Korea 's biggest supporter right now.

(we dont always get what we desire)
I see the principle. but sorry HD, having women in combat doesn't seem like an overall plus.

There is no job in any branch of the US military where when women were permitted to enter, that the physical standards were not dumbed down.

They just threatened us with dumping it. They just declared that they will buy their oil in dollars no longer, as has Russia and Venezuela. Our economy depends on the petro-dollar.
Thanks from Hollywood

I made a broad generalization, if I am wrong, I've set the bar low. Show me wrong.

Oh no, don't start your tap dancing and back -pedaling routine just yet.
In your previous post you clearly said, "There is NO JOB in the U.S. Military where when women were permitted, etc, etc. etc."
NOW you want to say"combat jobs?"

No, try again. This time with a little honesty.

I stick to my original claim. Every single Job opened to females in the US military has had the physical standards dumbed down. The link I shared was just one example. You got a job where that isn't the case , post it. I don't care if it's a typist. The physical standards were dumbed down.

Well then, how about making the job category itself obsolete by not assenting to the military psychopaths and war profiteers who want lots of wars for profit opportunities. Many years ago...some time after the first world war ended, a retired general named Smedley Butler(the most decorated US veteran in history)wrote a book called "War Is A Racket," detailing how he and other young men who joined the patriotic call to go fight for God and Country were used as pawns for personal and other financial benefits of America's wars prior to and including WWI. Ole Smedley was right then, and today's era of pushbutton warfare makes his warnings to get out of the empire-building war ventures even more crucial today as mainstream liberal and conservative hacks are enlisted to join together in the latest saber-rattling crusade against nuclear-armed Russia.

As for North Korea, none of the pundits I see here ever mention that the US has been the primary stumbling block to ending the Korean War in the first place! Yes, that war which ceased hostilities in 1953 has never formally been ended with a peace treaty....why not? There's always excuses for keeping wars going, and a good case can be made that North Korea would be foolish to both end their nuclear and missile programs after what's happened to the other regime change subjects and they're surrounded by enemies armed with thousands of nukes and missile delivery systems!

Fun topic, why don't you start a thread to discuss it.
