| "Seeing Allred"
Last night we ran across Netflix documentary "Seeing Allred" about Gloria Allred, and although we have no particular interest one way or the other about her, nothing else was on so we watched it.
A surprisingly EXCELLENT documentary. There was a lot about Ms. Allred that I didn't know - especially about how she got her start in both class action suits, big name court cases, and especially women's rights issues.
I've always thought of her as a fairly outspoken and sometimes rude lawyer who worked on behalf of wronged women, who was also a bit of a camera hog. Watching this documentary gave me a much better understanding of who (and why) she is who she is.
If Gloria Steinham is the philosopher of the Women's Rights Movement, Gloria Allred is definitely the legal representative of it.
You should watch it, even if (or especially if!) you think you don't like her. It's very intriguing and absorbing.
It does get a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes
