Did you know that two-thirds of the world was discovered by the Portuguese?

Did you know that two-thirds of the world was discovered by the Portuguese? Probably does not know. But it's true. They were the first to arrive.

Investigated. Have tried. They broke. Leaving testimony of his presence. They brought new ones from places that they thought were unreachable. In less than 100 years they have changed the world. To this World they have given new worlds. They materialized the dream and modified the notion of distance. They grew trade and scientific knowledge. They anticipated History. They helped the birth of new countries. They were the first citizens of the World. And if there were more World there would have been.

In Portuguese

Anteciparam a História.

I know the history of colonisation as well as you do, Avlis. I'm sure there are Africans still discovering Portugal. I'm saying it's a bit parochial.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Yes, I believe you know the history of Portugal. I'm happy.

...

Have you ever wondered if my country has 5 or 6 million inhabitants in the year 1500 the population of Portugal in 1527 was 1 million and 362 thousand inhabitants - Portugal today has 11 million and more than 5 million immigrants spread all over the world its antecedents.

..............

.........................
I mean if Portugal had 5 or 6 million inhabitants in 1500, the history of Portugal was still greater, and Spain was a smaller country, and Portugal was a country bigger than Spain, and England did not say that it had the the greatest empire in the world as it still says today, England France Netherlands did not discover anything, their discovery was the robbery they did to Portugal and Spain Castela - and great curse to Portugal was the death of the King of Portugal in north Africa battle of alquibir The king of Portugal did not have children, and that was how the Iberian union Portugal was born castela Spain in 1580 until 1640 in this period of 60 years of union the French French Dutch stole many territories that belonged to Portugal and Castile Spain
..................
...............
Friend the world owes much to the great nation that is called Portugal.
I am very proud of the history of my country, was Portugal was the first country to take initiative and began in the year 1415 Ceuta north Africa today colony of Spain, is closer to Spain and is further away from Portugal, I met Ceuta in 1976 passing by
what I do not like the history of my Portugal, was the inquisition and slavery that practiced, for centuries friend the story was made so.
My friend, I also know if it were not the countries of the Iberian peninsula, when was the new world and the new countries that existed today?
......................................

If you are referring to the policy of the Portuguese Facist Dictator
António Oliveira Salazar, friend, I tell you, he was already a great assassin, with the Portuguese and 3 fronts of futile wars, where more than 9,000 Portuguese died in almost 14 years of war, and many have been traumatized.

It was 3 fronts of wars that were expensive for Portugal mainly to the Portuguese

___________

Maybe my luck, I've been in some countries of Africa and I've never been in Portuguese Africa, I've been in this country Ceuta colony of Spain, but it was already from Portugal in 1415 Dakar Abijan Liberia Morocco Algeria Ègipto etc.

Europe countries I met. Spain France Italy Germany Netherlands Belgium England Denmark Sweden etc. Canary Islands lies opposite Africa.
Country I most liked Italy Spain are rich countries in monuments food the Latin languages easier communication. The neolatine language most similar is Portuguese Italian Spanish, but number one is my Portugal I do not know it yet I have a good climate, good women, good food, good wines, Igreijas, castles, Roman bridges, etc. many monuments with more than 2000 thousand years and we have two great stories, the first the birth of Portugal, the second was the Discoveries Portugal was the pioneer.
