The platform demands that lawmakers use religion as a guide when legislating, stipulating “that man-made law must be consistent with God-given, natural rights.
This is how the left manipulates and deceives the uninformed. This passage parallels the founders who created this country, government, and Constitution regarding God-given, natural rights.

The idiocy of this statement is two-fold:

The Bill of Rights' only foundation is God-given, natural rights.

God-given, natural rights are not rights based on any religion.

Of course the Founding Fathers never intended to say that our rights were "God-given".

They didn't use God or religion to determine our rights, they used reason, the basis of the Enlightenment Philosophy.

They intended and they said it. They all used God given inalienable rights.

What they did not say or use was reason regarding the rights in the Bill of Rights. The only Enlightenment basis they used was Locke, Montesquieu, et al., who based inalienable rights on God given rights.

That is why you have not and will not produce the historical record that substantiates your statement.
