The Democrats made it theirs when they refused to negotiate
Usually in the English language, we refer to the person who walks out as the one who refused to negotiate.
Generally we don't say that about the people left at the table....

Which it was until the Democrats refused to seek any agreement
What do you mean?
The deal that passed was the deal the Democrats offered before the shutdown.
Captain Bonespurs was going to cave, that's his thing, his motto is "Talk Tough, but act like a little pussy"

Usually in the English language, we refer to person that flat out said no to be the one that refuses to give. Also in the English language, negotiation implies some sort of give and take.

Generally we call the host of the meeting that refuses to give up anything the asshole. Assholes in this case, Why shouldn't they be left at the table, it is their table in their house.

By your clumsy reasoning, if Trump had pulled up a stool and just sat there until Pelosi and Schumer left in frustration, then it would be Nancy and Chuck that refused to negotiate, which was what they did anyway.

Political goobers have a way to always spin it and you're one of the best.

Most people are going to call it Trump's Shutdown, because that is what he told us to call it, he said he'd own it.
Why would Pelosi give Trump anything, the good negotiator, tries to get to the end product quickly.
Nancy did, she was where the deal ended, before the shutdown, it was Trump that had to alter his position, and the Master Deal Maker knew he would, so why would she settle for a deal that's not as good as the deal she is going to get.

So a jumbled post of why Pelosi would not give in is your rationale for calling Trump a loser for being unwilling to negotiate?

Do you ever read your own posts and think it through? TDS is getting stronger.

Trump said he'd shutdown the government, he said he'd be proud to take credit for shutting down the government, its Trump's shutdown, it ended when Trump caved .
